SUMMARY: Michael Savage repeatedly called on his listeners to "burn the Mexican flag" in opposition to illegal immigrants. During the March 27 edition of his nationally syndicated radio program, Michael Savage repeatedly called on his listeners to "burn the Mexican flag" in opposition to illegal immigrants. Savage's remarks came in response to the recent massive rallies held in California during which demonstrators marched in opposition to proposed legislation that would impose new immigration restrictions.
As Media Matters for America has documented, Savage recently referred to the Iraq war as the "white man's burden" and referred to the award-winning movie Brokeback Mountain as "Bareback Mounting."

And further: he ridicules the right of US Mexicans to protest and refers to burn the Mexican flag in name of those who died so we have a country and nationality? How many American flags have been burned? Does he want to create a civil war here in the US.
To answer your question, American flags were burned by the open borders protesters, in addition to being hung upside down BENEATH a Mexican flag at a PUBLIC school in Whittier, CA. Protesters were also seen carrying maps of North America with the U.S. crossed out, and heard chanting "brown power!"
Can you imagine the stink that liberals like those who frequent this site would raise if people at a Minutemen rally were heard chanting "white power?" The old double standard rears its ugly head again.
Of course all this was conveniently "overlooked" by the liberal press. Some journalists claimed they were barred by their employers from reporting these facts. Once again the truth has been trampled under foot by the unstoppable forces of political correctness.

It is interesting to note that Michael Weiner used to hang with Allen Ginsburg and was at least gay "curious". His son is the founder of Rockstar INC which has developed all the "Grand Theft Auto" games including "San Andreas" which depicts black and hispanic gang wars in the 1990's (a very fun game I might add). Everytime when the economy is really bad, unemployment is high, or polls are low or what ever minorities get the boot: they did it. And it seems to work always.
Let's not forget, though, the illegals have committed an offence, whatever the cause of their crossing the border. But the problem is not only illegal aliens: US mexicans are creating a new underclass, which brings unequal treatment, lower than minimum wages, violence, incarceration, drug- and alcohol problems etc. Anyone who wants to work in the US should get a visa or try it otherwise.
However, refering to the evolution to describe a struggle reminds me of Adolf Hitler who thought Western-Europeans were the superior race, and whites who think and thought blacks are only beasts of burden.

Savage mentioned this and I would like to ask you guys about this? How come you have no problem with burning the American flag, but are offended at the idea of burning any other flag? Yelling racism makes me wonder if you know what racism is. On this subject, I think you guys don't.
BTW, I am, for the most part, on Savage's side on this issue. Not to the extreme use of words he does, I'd like to at least try to be respectful of opposing viewpoints (depending on how much I can keep my emotions out of it).
If Savage wants people who agree with him to burn a mexican flag, I have no problem with that. I have no problem with people burning an American flag in protest. I have no problem with any flag burning done in protest.

One thing I find odd is Michael Savage and George Carlin are sounding more and more alike, even though they come from different political spectrums. The reason? Both engage in misanthropic talk that truly shows a disgust with humankind, and an almost gleeful orgasmic lust for graphic violence.
Last year, Savage had a survivalist on his show, who he completely agreed with. The topic was "when society breaks down, what will you do... blah blah blah" and it was both extremely paranoic and lucid. At one point, Savage asked the caller what supplies everyone needs when the end of the world comes.
The caller started listing items, and when he got to 200 feet of rope, Savage stopped him.
"Is that for when you need to hang the liberals from the overpasses?"
The caller was confused, and said, no, you might need to tow a vehicle. Speech like this, the advocating of killing Americans you disagree with is over the line.

The first people in California were the Indians. The Spanish stole their land. The Mexicans then stole it from the Spanish. Finally the Americans stole it from the Mexicans. Since the Spanish and the Mexicans almost completely exterminated the original inhabitants it is irrelevant whose claim goes back the furthest.
It is not known who the first peoples in California were, so to claim it was Indians is politically correct, but not factually correct.

It is also very confusing. The first high civilization (that is building of large cities metalurgy and such) in Central America were the Olmecs. ( Trez Zapotes, Monte Alban) From the large stone heads of their leaders ( we assume) it is clear that racially they were most likely Africans. If anyone can explain this to me I would appreciate it.
Actually, Russ Weiner is not the head of the very cool Rockstar Games but he is the head of Rock Star Energy Drink, a mixture his dad came up with and finances. The hypocrisy is astounding. Yes, Mexico, in exchange for 15 million dollars (and 3 million in debt forgiveness), ceded most of the Southwest to the U.S. And don't forget the Gadsen Purchase, where the U.S. bought the rest of present day Arizona and New Mexico for about 10 million.
It may have been their (Mexicans') land at one point, but the U.S. bought it fair and square.

At least this quote illuminates for me the source of the bogus statistic (which I've seen and heard cited before) that 29% of those in federal prisons are illegal aliens. Here are the facts from the Federal Bureau of Prisons website. 29% of federal prisoners are citizens of other countries, but that doesn't mean they are illegal aliens. I seriously doubt that all of them are, though! 11% are in for immigration problems, so I imagine those would be your illegal aliens.

Below are a few stations. To stop the hatred, the sponsors and radio broadcasters such as Clear Channel need to start getting linked to what they are paying to support, and the Hispanic community needs to become aware of the hatred being spewed by Clear Channel radio stations.

We have two party's that do a wonderfull rendition of good guy, bad guy on the national stage. We have the best government that money can buy at all government levels in this country. The republicans are good economic stimulators and the democrates tend to destroy economics. Both party's are anti labor through the passage of NAFTA and GAT which, I am sure were paid for by corporate america. As a result of this greed, the middle class is disapearing. Corporate america has been busy destroying national talent in the sciences and the next generations careers. Research work is being farmed out to Asia which, is stimulating their education systems and defunding ours. Our national security is being destroyed because the money is so sweet. The Pentagon has repeatedly informed congress about these problems which has fallen on deaf ears because the money is so sweet. Last year we had a 750 billion dollar trade deficit with Asia. China has now rattled it's saber several times but the money is so sweet. We have spent 250 billion dollars for the war in Iraq. The money we have spent is more then the value of the oil in the ground in Iraq. With that money we could have built a concret wall on our southern border complete with camera's, motion sensors, digging sensors, and watch towers. I think we need a real national party rather then two international party's called; Democrat party, and Republican party.
