On the January 10 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends, co-host Brian Kilmeade claimed that "all you have to do is pick up the newspaper to understand" that "most of the media is pulling for [Sen.] Hillary [Rodham Clinton (D-NY)] to get to the White House." Kilmeade was discussing the 2008 presidential election with former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX).

DeLay agreed with Kilmeade and added, "[Rep.] Rahm Emanuel [D-IL], a former Clintonista, used this coalition in winning the House and the Senate in the last election."

From the January 10 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

KILMEADE: And, Mr. DeLay, also when you talk about the news media, all you have to do is pick up the newspaper to understand that it seems like most of the media is pulling for Hillary to get to the White House.

DeLAY: The media is part of her coalition. I mean, it was proven in the last election. Rahm Emanuel, a former Clintonista, used this coalition in winning the House and the Senate in the last election. And the media was part of that coalition. They all coordinated going into districts, into states in massive bodies. I mean, it was a pretty awesome operation. And if you take that coalition and apply it to Hillary's presidential campaign, it's going to be very tough to beat.

It does have a nice ring, but it's not nearly as pleasant a sound as "Convicted felon, Tom Delay".

When Fox News has to stoop this low by having Tom Delay as a commentator that shows desperation. He's not that well respected for making credible comments.

On October 19, 2005, a Texas court issued a warrant for DeLay's arrest. DeLay surrendered at the Harris County, Texas jail the next day, was booked, was photographed, was fingerprinted, and posted a $10,000 bond.

When his mug shot was taken you would think he just won the Lottery. I had never seen him smile that big before.

DeLay was forced to resign temporarily from his position as Majority Leader.

In January 2006, under pressure from fellow Republicans, DeLay announced that he would not seek to return to the position.

In the final analysis I like to see him at Fox News, because it helps to display the true colors and the objectives of Fox News.

So the republicans not doing a good job had nothing to do with the results of the mid term elections this year? Come on Delay, you were part of the problem and the reason why the democrats won both the House and the Senate in November. What kind of arrogance is it to believe that the media did this?? Please...

The media is constantly haranguing Clinton, just as they did her husband, and herself during this time in the White House (rightfully so in some cases I might add).

Hey Foxite, its Senator Clinton, not Hillary to you. You're spitting in the face of Old Glory and aiding the Islamofascists with your blatant disrespect of one this great country's Senate representatives. Now go wash your mouth out with John McCain.

And note to Tommy D: Yeah the last election had nothing to do with your party's addiction to corruptive stay the courseness!

        Or was it Barack Obama??

The fact is the media isn't just one entity or groupthink anymore - like the simplistic media bias obsessors would like us all to believe. I would imagine there are those in the "media" that love Hillary, and McCain, and Obama, and Guliani, and Daffy Duck - so what?

The media is newspapers, TV, internet, bloggers, and so much more than can be summarized or boxed into one ideology. So when Kilmeade or these others make silly blanket statements like this, they just look silly.

When did Senator Clinton announce her candidacy?

      She didn't, you say?

Then why can't Faux Snooze simply STFU?

Oh yeah, this little fella knows things that we don't. I never knew that "North Korea loves John Kerry" until he told us all just before the 2004 election. Fair and Balanced - Faux News - We Distort, You Despise!!!!!

I sincerely believe that if Gore was the candidate he would easily beat any Republican in 2008. And those SNL skits with him and the debates and the Lockbox talk were funny, I'd like to see them come back.

I haven't heard that Gore is interested though.
