O'Reilly: "[I]f I could strangle these people and not go to hell and get executed ... I would -- but I can't."
On the September 27 edition of his nationally syndicated radio show, while discussing media coverage of his recent controversial comments about race, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly asserted: "These people aren't getting away with this. I'm going to go right where they live. Every corrupt media person in this country is on notice, right now. I'm coming after you." He went on to warn: "You smear somebody and you can't back it up, you're gonna get it. ... You go after somebody's family, you go after them and smear them with defamation that you can't back up, I'm coming to your house. I'm coming to your house. You'll have a camera up your nose. OK?" Later during the program, O'Reilly stated that newspapers such as The New York Times and the New York Daily News, "ran up to Harlem and they fed black Americans bogus quotes from Media Matters." Continuing, he said, "Now, the black Americans up there, they didn't listen to The Radio Factor. They didn't know this was coming from Media Matters. ... So, the reporter ... feeds them the quote, and of course they say bad things about me." O'Reilly called these newspapers' actions "the height of racism." Apparently referring to the media who he said "ran up to Harlem and ... fed black Americans bogus quotes from Media Matters," O'Reilly added, "[I]f I could strangle these people and not go to hell and get executed ... I would -- but I can't. ... All I can do is expose them. And I will."
After warning "corrupt media" figures that they are "on notice," O'Reilly stated: "I'm coming after you. And I don't care if it's Bill O'Reilly, [Sen.] Hillary Clinton, [Republican presidential candidates] Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, [Sen.] Barack Obama. Anybody smeared by any media from now on, I'm holding them accountable. I'm going to hunt you down. Got that?" He went on to tell listeners, "[M]y campaign to hold the corrupt media responsible is going to help your life. Because no longer will these smear merchants be allowed to get away with it, as long as I'm in the chair. As long as I'm here, I'm hunting them down. And that means everybody."
Immediately after saying, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not taking it anymore," O'Reilly transitioned to the "No-Spin" news segment of the show, and discussing the murder trial of music producer Phil Spector, asserted that the two jurors who had decided to acquit him are "idiots and they should be put in jail for letting this guy get off."
From the September 27 edition of Westwood One's The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly:
O'REILLY: Now, I'm on the air with the morning team at WOR, our flagship station here in New York City, and Joe Bartlett -- a very skilled interviewer, been around a long time -- and I are talking about the controversy that was drummed up by the far-left media, and Joe says to me, "Well, aren't you worried about, you know, people thinking you are, you know, X, Y, and Z, and a racist and all of this?" and I said, "No, I'm not worried about that at all. What I'm worried about is we live in a country now where you have a media that's flat-out dishonest, distorting things and lying to you every day." That's what I'm worried about.
If somebody wants to think I'm a racist, go ahead. There's no evidence of that. That's ridiculous. That's like, you know, "You beat your wife." "Well, I'm not married. I don't have a wife. I'm eight years old. How could I beat my wife?" You see what I'm talking about? Now, people are gonna think what they want to think, and ignorant people are all over the place and they can think -- and I'm not gonna pander to them.
However, there is a huge problem in this country and I'm going to attack that problem. I'm going to attack it. These people aren't getting away with this. I'm going to go right where they live. Every corrupt media person in this country is on notice, right now. I'm coming after you. And I don't care if it's Bill O'Reilly, Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Barack Obama. Anybody smeared by any media from now on, I'm holding them accountable. I'm going to hunt you down. Got that, Lis?
LIS WIEHL (co-host): I think I got that.
O'REILLY: So, you better be careful.
WIEHL: I'm feeling it here.
O'REILLY: You better be careful.
WIEHL: I better be careful!
O'REILLY: And I mean it. Smear stops here. Over. End of this. You're all on notice out there. I'm coming for you. First victim, tonight on the Factor, in addition to Jesse Jackson: The Washington Post. I'm going to play a tape tonight that'll blow you out of the water -- blow you out of the water. Coming, that's number one.
Had enough. It's going to stop and I am going to be the cop that stops it.
Now, a lot of my advisors are saying, "Oh, you know, let the story die. Don't keep talking about it." Now, look, I don't care. I don't care what uninformed people think about me. I do not, because, I believe, down to my toes, that the American public is essentially honest. And I will point to you an aol.com poll, in motion right now, where 60 percent of the public thinks this is the biggest fraud in the world -- says I didn't do anything at all wrong. Sixty percent -- even though the setup on it is anti-O'Reilly.
Now, this is -- has nothing to do with Fox, nothing to do with -- these are just folk, more than 100,000 of them voted on this thing, all right. The folks know what's going on. It doesn't matter if you're conservative or liberal. Most Americans are essentially honest people. And what else can they do? You got the radio program unedited on BillOReilly.com. You want to listen to it? There it is.
Now, I'm going to do a quick "No-Spin" news and then we'll get back to it -- and I'm sorry if I'm boring some of you. I know you'd rather talk about, you know, other items, but I can't get across to you how important this is and how my campaign to hold the corrupt media responsible is going to help your life. Because no longer will these smear merchants be allowed to get away with it, as long as I'm in the chair. As long as I'm here, I'm hunting them down. And that means everybody.
You smear somebody and you can't back it up, you're gonna get it. Now, I don't care about issues. You want to go somebody after issues, you go right ahead. Go right ahead. You want to criticize me, disagree with me? I like that; that's why I do this radio program. You go after somebody's family, you go after them and smear them with defamation that you can't back up, I'm coming to your house.
I'm coming to your house. You'll have a camera up your nose. OK? Everybody got it out there? I hope everybody's got it, because I'm mad as hell and I'm not taking it anymore -- to quote [late playwright and screenwriter] Paddy Chayefsky. What movie is that from?
WIEHL: Network.
O'REILLY: OK, excellent. All right, "No-Spin" news real fast: Spector, hung jury. Ten people understood that he did kill that poor woman. Two people understood nothing, and they're idiots and they should be put in jail for letting this guy get off. They're going to retry it but this is L.A. You've got two nuts and there you go. O.J. Simpson, Robert Blake, now Phil Spector. If we catch Osama bin Laden, he sent a message that he wants to be tried in L.A.
[...]
O'REILLY: You know, look, I have to make decisions about what I cover, why I cover it, and what the worthiness is. And again, if you -- if we have new listeners out there, my mandate is to keep an eye on the powerful in America, and that means all the politicians, all the people that have power over you. And the press certainly does that, because the press can put things out there. And, you know, again, you are the informed people listening to talk radio, taking an interest in your country, thinking about issues, but most Americans are not informed.
You know, this is the height of racism. The New York Times, The Washington Post, other newspapers ran up to Harlem and -- not The Washington Post, they didn't. The New York Times, Daily News, all right -- and they ran up to Harlem and they fed black Americans bogus quotes from Media Matters.
Now, the black Americans up there, they didn't listen to The Radio Factor. They didn't know this was coming from Media Matters. They didn't know any anything -- they don't know what Media Matters is. They don't know who Bill O'Reilly is, many of them. So, the reporter feed them -- feeds them the quote, and of course they say bad things about me, of course they do.
If you heard a quote -- you were a black American -- that Bill O'Reilly was shocked, surprised that people were well-dressed, blacks were well-dressed at the Anita Baker concert, you'd go, "That's outrageous." Wouldn't you?
WIEHL: Absolutely, of course.
O'REILLY: OK, so that's how they reacted and then they printed it. You know, look, if I could strangle these people and not go to hell and get executed --
WIEHL: You're not going to do that.
O'REILLY: I would -- but I can't.
WIEHL: No, no, no.
O'REILLY: All I can do is expose them. And I will.
Let's go to James in Michigan City, Ohio. What's going on James?

O'reilly is really getting unhinged here. He has no one else to blame but himself for his patronizing comments. He speaks about blacks as if they're little children who needs his gudience to get to the promise land.
Ugh. I misspelled "guidance." Sorry about that.
I've always wanted to see where David Brock lives!
Bring it on BOR-- I'd just love to see these guys nail you on camera. They don't have as much to worry about as judges and other public employees, you friggin' bully!
I recall an episode a few months ago where the owner of think progress did a house visit w/camera in your face to O'Reilly, and we heard all about how that's a repulsive thing to do. O'Reilly has a double standard for everything in his life.
I know this response is late, but...
The "owner" of Think Progress is the Center for American Progress Action Fund a "nonpartisan organization...[that] seeks to provide a forum that advances progressive ideas and policies." The camera-in-your-face visit to O'Reilly's home was perpetrated by Mike Stark, an occasional (?) diarist at Daily Kos. Stark was the Radio Factor caller who had the audacity to mention Keith Olbermann's name and O'Reilly threatened him with a home visit from "Fox Security."
O'Reilly might regret saying all that coming to your house/camera in up your nose stuff. He's known for making personal attacks on those he disagrees with. And instead of just geting that Mike Stark guy in his driveway, he may get lots of people (people who have media access to a larger populace than did Stark) in his face asking him all kinds of uncomfortable questions. Then more Americans will see just what a jerk O'Reilly is.
O'Reilly added, "[I]f I could strangle these people and not go to hell and get executed ... I would -- but I can't.
So if O'Reilly get find a way to do the crime without the police or the big guy upstairs knowing about it, he'd be willing to kill. Oh man, that's really disturbing. He should probably seek professional help. Anyone who expresses the will to harm others like that, well, it's just plain sick.
If you corner a MMFA employee, intern, or David Brock himself...they can honestly claim "All I do is write down what other people say"
"Unhinged" is exactly the first word that came to my mind as well. Maybe Michelle Malkin could spotlight him in the next edition of that book.
I'm still freaking that at the end he referred to Michigan City, Ohio. As a childhood resident of Michigan City, Indiana, he even got that wrong!
Does O'Reilly really think that by talking louder and acting madder and making empty threats, he will win the day and overcome the record of his own words?
Does O'Reilly really think?
One view says that the best defense is a good offense. More applicable here, though, is that one needs to be careful that one's mouth doesn't write checks that one's ass cannot cash.
If FOX is wise, it will enroll BillO in a crash class on ANGER MANAGEMENT. He is nearing an explosion/implosion, and it will be ugly.
It will be beautiful!
Keep digging that hole Bill, keep digging. You could have stopped all the madness, just my saying, "I'm sorry about the remarks I made they were ignorant and offensive.." That would be it. Issue, over, but no, not Bill O'Reilly. Now he's threatening physical violence against these "smear" groups that dare post his verbatim words.
MMFA better watch out for Fox security coming to your house to rough you up.
Bill, you're getting pathetic. If you're reading this, or one of your interns, I'll give you my address, come on over. I'll stomp you a few times for good measure, and I bet no jury would convict me. TV tough guy, Bill O'Reilly.
But it IS fun to watch that hole get bigger. Like, people up there in Harlem don't know "anything?" Most "haven't heard of Bill O'Reilly?" Just wind him up and watch him go.
Bill-O
Is MMFA making it hard for you? Good then they are doing their job.
I'm coming to your house.
I'm coming to your house. You'll have a camera up your nose. OK? Everybody got it out there? I hope everybody's got it
Say "Auf Wiedersehen" to der Freedom of Speech. General Secretary Bill O'Reilly has outlawed all Kritik aimed towards der FOX News Demokratische Republik. If you would provide any criticism towards der Party and der Leader, we will send FOX News Stasi Security on you, ja?
This is getting frightening. You can't threaten to go to peoples homes because of something they said that you don't like.. Even if it is the truth.Where is Homeland Security?
Our culture warrior is on the warpath, apparently. Goin' up people's noses, huntin' 'em down, roundin' 'em up, puttin' 'em on notice, strangulations, executions, bound for hell........it's all there. The O'Reilly Factor is becoming Gunsmoke.
Yeah, that's a pretty christian attitude to seek revenge against your fellow man, to wish death on them for nothing more than an opinion.
Like my daddy always said, if ya gotta tell everyone you're not a racist, you probably are.
I love his comment about the two Spector jurors, too. Apparently he's not aware that one of the holdouts was the FOREMAN, who just happened to be the best educated of the bunch!
This guy and his ilk are getting scary, scary.
Boy Tommy am I enjoying this. I feel a little guilty now, but it's funny watching crazy people act out.
Lynn,
wanna know how O'Reilly really feels about black folks?
God I love Reichwingers in the morning. It smells like - Victory!
I just watched Dan Abrams on MSNBC and John DePetro of radio WPRO AM an friend of Bill O was on his show. During a discussion with Rachael Maddox and Joe Watkins, Depetro was defending his friend Bill. He said that if he was having dinner with Abrams and O'Reilly and Abrams had said he'd been to Harlem for dinner he would assume that he was actually there to either buy drugs or find a prostitute. He went on to say that in all the years he's lived in New York he never went to Harlem further stating that white folks don't go to Harlem and there are no white folks living in Harlem (I guess former President Clinton doesn't count). I cannot believe the things people will say and not think anything about it. To basically call a primarily black neighborhood's only attraction to whites drugs and prostitutes? No wonder Bill was amazed at Sylvia's he was waiting for the drug sales and the hookers. I'm still speechless
I saw that, too, Pearl. What made me upset more than anything is how NO ONE had the gall to challenge that idiot. Yeah, Rachel Maddow attempted to do it in a jokingly fashion, but her and Joe Watkins allowed that guy to spew so many stereotypes about Harlem it made me more disgusted than O'Reilly's comments.
They were indeed worse. I’ve been to Harlem over the years and it is indeed becoming a destination area, mixed diversity and incomes including those at the professional level. . So the only reason a White person would venture into a Black neighborhood is to buy drugs and hookers? I live in a middle class neighborhood that changed from predominantly White to predominantly AA. It's grassy and quiet with no open air drug markets and no hookers hanging on lamp posts people looking for that kind of action would be big sorely disappointed if they came to my neighborhood.
And yet another O'Reilly thread...
I don't know about anyone else but I have officially O.D'd on this subject.
So I bid you all adieu until this feud between MMFA & O'Reilly blows over, or Billy commits mass murder, whichever comes first.
Yes yes I know it's MMFA's mission to record all of this foolishness, but quite frankly I've lost interest.
There's just too many more important things out there to read about.
It won't be much longer, you come back now.
I have to say that I watched the O'Reilly Factor this evening for the first time in many years. I am reminded why I don't watch it.
O'Reilly kept trying to put words in Jesse Jackson's mouth and wouldn't even let him talk. Every subject was a pretense for O'Reilly to play the poor "victim" and insecurely begging for agreement and approval from the other panelists. I noticed O'Reilly never put up or clarified his original remarks. How clueless can he be?
That complete imbecile, Bernie Goldberg spent every second on the air over-generalizing to the point of incoherence about white liberals and why we are so terrible for America yada yada yada. It really was just a big pathetic freakshow. O'Reilly lashing out at the big bad liberals who are quoting him correctly.
I watched the J. Jackson segments too. You nailed it. But, I'll bet $100 that on tomorrows radio show O'Reilly will say that Jackson agreed with him on every point.
That complete imbecile, Bernie Goldberg spent every second on the air over-generalizing to the point of incoherence about white liberals and why we are so terrible for America yada yada yada.
That's the MAIN reason why I decided to turn after the Jackson interview because I knew exactly what Bernie Goldberg would pull. Even Jane Hall has tamed down and has become obsequious to Bill. I guess she's tired of being screamed at or getting her mic turned off, so she submits to his tyrant tactics.
But I did turn back to the final part of his interview with Juan Williams and what made me laugh the most is when he told Juan, "We won this battle, man! We have to stand up for ourselves. We can't let the smear-merchents get the best of us!" -- something like that. I said to myself, is this guy for real? He think dragging in the usual people who fawns over him to defend his comments is WINNING a debate? Not only is O'Reilly getting more unhinged week after week, but also delusional. I agree with Marvin Kitman that if he keep this up he might have a nervous breakdown.
Go check the sports section, Jeter. Those teams who haven't clinched their divisions are still fighting for wild card spots, aren't they?
I hear you, Tommy, but Gunsmoke wasn't what came to my mind first. Here we have O'Reilly talking about how he's not going to take it any more, how he's going to get all up in people's grills if they've messed with him, how he's fantasizing about killing them... Has he been listening to too much gangsta rap?
Apparently referring to the media who he said "ran up to Harlem and ... fed black Americans bogus quotes from Media Matters,"
Bill, aren't these the same black folks who you said are now adays 'thinkin for themselves'?
Boy, what a difference a few days makes. I'm sure glad we have Bill around to tells us bout black folks. The way they think is hard to understand.
We're backsliding already.
Yeah, I know, I should feel guilty. I booked a flight to NY and stood on the corner with my MM propaganda literature and handed it out to every customer who entered Sylvia's. Told them personally that Bill was surprised they knew how to use silverware, let alone spell it. I especially pushed that bit about Bill being amazed the guys didn't have their pants pulled down half way to their ankles and the girls had dresses so short you could see their belly buttons. How did he find out about me?
watch your nose.
How's he gonna go after himself and stick a camera up his nose? Maybe he's got a webcam in his bathroom?
BILL O'REILLY: "Now, the black Americans up there, they didn't listen to The Radio Factor. They didn't know this was coming from Media Matters. They didn't know any anything -- they don't know what Media Matters is. They don't know who Bill O'Reilly is, many of them..."
Jeez, Bill, sure sounds like you're trying to describe a bunch of ignorant, uninformed people...although I'm sure you must mean these remarks in some way as a compliment to the black people in Harlem.
I guess if these people don't know who you are then their failure to yell "Hey, motherf*cker...iced tea." at Sylvia's wasn't just because they were on good behavior due to your presence there.
The real irony to bill is he doesn't understand "why". Bill, why don't you have a lot of african americans listening to your show? Could it be that they are thinking for themselves and think your show is - oh, repulsive?
That's the whole thing, Snoop. The utter incomprehensibility Bildo displays throughout this episode. He has NO IDEA why his remarks could be construed (rightly, IMO) as the product of a racist mentality.
He thinks people would really be surprised that a black-owned establishment could be run with the same class and dignity as a white-owned one. Maybe HE's not surprised, because, you know, he's not racist. But SOME PEOPLE would be surprised. Some people. Not Bill. 'Cause he's not racist, you know. Honest. He's not.
BILL O'REILLY: "Now, the black Americans up there, they didn't listen to The Radio Factor. They didn't know this was coming from Media Matters. They didn't know any anything -- they don't know what Media Matters is. They don't know who Bill O'Reilly is, many of them..."
That sounds pretty racist as well. This guy doesn't know when to stop. I'm sure Olbermann will quote this line very soon as further evidence of BOR goofiness.
.. he said the other day they all watched the Factor.
Do you also notice that it was not Bill O'Reilly who asked these well-behaved, free-thinking black people what they thought about anything? It appears that all Billo was interested in was that they didn't say "motherf*cker" at Sylvia's and that they dressed well for an Anita Baker concert. I might have been impressed had Billo reported that he actually SPOKE with some of these black people, explored their views and tried to understand them better. But all Billo noticed was how they dressed and that didn't cut up. No depth. Everything about Billo is superficial...nothing but a cardboard cut-out with an audio that won't turn off.
But... Didn't he say "And we went to Sylvia's, a very famous restaurant in Harlem. I had a great time, and all the people up there are tremendously respectful. They all watch The Factor." [emphasis mine]
Which is it? They all watch, or none of them watch? It's kind of critical to your basic premise, isn't it, Ted? I mean - Bill?
"Which is it? They all watch, or none of them watch?"
Why are you smearing Billo...? <sarcasm>
You're right, Irony. I'm so ashamed... I think I'll head home right now, stick a camera up my nose, strangle myself, go to Hell, and then be executed. It's the only proper punishment for a smear-merchant (even though I haven't been paid anything) like me.
Great discovery! You're right.
depends on which day of the week it is, and which point you're trying to prove. kind of like 1984, the truth changes.
I'm sure you must mean these remarks in some way as a compliment to the black people in Harlem.
Actually, IMO, it IS a compliment to say that someone doesn't listen to O'Reilly.
Irony,
You want more irony, check this out:
From: http://mediamatters.org/items/200709210007
"And we went to Sylvia's, a very famous restaurant in Harlem. I had a great time, and all the people up there are tremendously respectful. They all watch The Factor. You know, when Sharpton and I walked in, it was like a big commotion and everything, but everybody was very nice."
Which is it?
Ah so bill0 does finally get it "So, the reporter ... feeds them the quote, and of course they say bad things about me" Why do they say baaad thingys about me? Waaahhh Wah, mommy make them stop! Stick around bill0, the kitchen just opened and it's a gonna get hot!!
You go to hell and then get executed. Who'da thought.
Hold me, I'm scared.
I guess he's right, listening to him here on earth is a living hell.
""[I]f I could strangle these people and not go to hell and get executed ... I would -- but I can't. ... "
Huh. How about that. I guess the death penalty really IS a deterrant for some people.
Interesting.
A few months back, we got him kicked out of a paid speaking engagement, now this. The ol pocketbook is O'Reilly's sore spot.
His unbridled mouth is his Achilles heel, but he thinks it's everybody elses fault. LOL
"These people aren't getting away with this. I'm going to go right where they live," says Bill.
Hey Bill, if you plan to go after "corrupt media" you better start with News Corporation's Fox News.
Here's the 411. We don't like you, Bill. You are a pain in the a*&. You are an arrogant and ignorant "man."
Now he's threatening people in the media. Bill will not go to these people's homes because he is a coward. He will send a producer instead.
Any violent altercation resulting from Bill's threats will seal Bill's fate with Fox News. Just because he has the number one talk show on Fox News will not protect him from being canned by the suits at News Corporation.
I have a gut feeling that Bill's tenure with Fox News will come to a close soon.
dang it , it would be much funnier if I had said the "Sylvia's kitchen" is getting hot, get it? Can't stand the heat get out of Sylvia's kitchen, oh never mind, move along, HBL will crack us up here pretty soon.
Ok, turns out we don't have to wait for HBL ; here bill0 provides the funniest comment of the week for us:
"And, you know, again, you are the informed people listening to talk radio"
Whoooeee! I don't care who you are , now that is funny!!
Pit, I am not your clown, and can't compete with BilldO. Sorry. ;0)
What we are seeing here is a commentator who screwed up, originally.
Someone points out his screwup.
Said commentator, being totally full of himself, throws HUGE tantrum rather than even say "Oops."
Now said commentator blames everyone else for his total screwup, and his tantrum to boot.
You would strangle WHO? Yeah Billy boy, you would TRY. What a coward. How easy it is to threaten to beat people he KNOWS he will NEVER see in person. What a jerk
This Sh*tbag should have his FCC license stripped...
For threatening violence on those who disagree and expose him.
This man is the lowest sort of vermin on the planet.
I think we've nearly arrived at the point where Bill decides to spend more time with his family.
One thing Bill is right about is that no white person is ever going to again say anything positive or negative about black people. How about we all just stop talking to each other - that's brilliant! Joe Biden got shot down for his Obama comment, Imus got canned and now the hate speech nazis are after O'Reilly. Instead of following Bill around and making an inference about what he meant, why don't you all go down to Jena and get upset about something that's really racist.
The point Bill was making, although somewhat ineffectively, was that the media portrays black people as being gun toting, N-word spewing, thugs. My morning news report is filled with the latest gun shot victim -black, the latest bank robber - black, and the latest rapper controversy - e..g. DMX in trouble again for dog fighting/crulety. Many americans only see blacks on TV or if they do see them, they aren't friends with any blacks. So, the mostly white, mostly liberal media feeds these stereotypes into our minds and many act outraged by so-called racist comments when in fact, the whites who put out this garbage and then act so offended aren't friends with any black people either. They're the same people who, in my area, live in the city which is 90% minority but send their white kids to private schools. Then, they wear the fact that they live in the city on their sleeve as some sort of badge of honor.
Without an open, honest discussion about how we (whites and blacks) feel about each other and work to overcome the differences we have and be unified in our american-ness, we'll drift further apart. That's what makes me sick about Media Matters. You don;t want an open dialogue - you want everyone to give in to the speech police. If you're in charge of the speech, then it's time for an overthrow.
"How about we all just stop talking to each other - that's brilliant!"
Please. Stop your damned whining. How about these crotchety white men use their brains before they open their mouths for once, like the rest of us have to in a professional setting and the open and honest dialogue can start from there?
WWWAAHHHHH why cant we just PRETEND that patronizing, racist, BS is actually rational discussion about race, WWAAAHHHH stop showing Billys OWN WORDS to anyone but the already brainwashed FOXbots. WWAAAHHHH. Man you guys are sad.

Hey Bill..
YOU SUCK! YOU STINK!
(what kind of cookies do you want when you come to my house?)
as much as i give BillO the benefit of a doubt that did not mean what he said in the way it came off, this is just crazy. i think he is really losing it. not to mention, i'm pretty sure is in the top 5 among "news" people who smear and outright lie and do not correct those things. like that whole masacre with the germans thing, or him stating there are hundres and hundred sof lesbian gangs around the country that carry pink pistols and rape little girls forcing them to become lesbians. i mean, the day i saw that on the "news"... wow.
atleast it mildly entertaining to watch him loose his s***.
as much as i give BillO the benefit of a doubt that did not mean what he said in the way it came off, this is just crazy.
I agree that Bill meant to say something other than the way it sounded. But that really doesn't help him much.
What he was trying to say, I think, is that white people hold misperceptions about black culture, and they are untrue. The problem is, the mispreceptions he cited seem so outlandish to most people that they couldn't really be used in a persuasive argument like Bill tries to make. Those kinds of misperceptions would only seem reasonable to one who believes -- at least subconsciously -- those kind of cartoonish stereotypes to be real. I'm guessing an unhealthy percentage of Bill's audience fits into that category, and he knows it. I also think Bill fits into that category, and he denies it.
He fits into that catagory and denies it because he doesn't realize it. His ego keeps telling him that he's perfect.
I completely agree with you. I guess its just kind of sad that this isn't even close to the worst thing he's said on air, but if this is the one that takes him down, fine by me.
I think this is great fun. Isn't it preview week? I bet this is Fox pulling a fast one and this is the replacement for their 1/2 hour show that was too deep for the rest of us to understand.
I think MM should keep posting everything that is said about BOR. It will drive him to really show his hand. MM may not want to get him fired but I would be happy. Unfortunately Fox would put Michelle Malkin in his place. Well the fun just doesn't end does it?
Susie, check Snoopy's link. It covers Bill's thoughts on this subject.
Rick, its usually the super ego's job to tell you how good you are. Maybe Bill's wasn't up to the job alone.
This story really isn't making much of an impression on the general public. Snoopy's tee shirt idea got a laugh or two, but most folks are out of this conversation. Mind we'll get some curious people, how many, how many will stick arround? The figures will probably be availible and open to interpertation. Interesting, but more importantly.
WHO Said Clowns!
O'Really said"... I'm going to hunt you down..."
Later, he says "All I can do is expose them. And I will."
Ok. I'm just waiting for him to expose himself. I hope it's on his radio show.
<shudder>
LOL . . . while I was listening to Buffoon O'Reilly rant, all I could do was think of was Baghdad Bob.
BTW Bill . . . can I have an autographed pic of you to hang on my holiday tree to help ring in the winter festivities? PUHLEEZE????
I honestly think that one day Bill-o will truly snap and go postal. In his novel, Those Who Trepass, there is a homicidal murderer that very closely resembles Orally. Hmmmmmmmmm...
Rush looks like he's about ready to implode, too! (Maybe the boil on his butt that got him out of Vietnam is bothering him!!)
Bill, Unlike the infidels on the website who do not understand you, I do.My royal training has given me insight into minds like yours, dark and twisted as they may be. You have finally turned the corner with your decision to GO AFTER or GET THOSE who lie or misinform. I'll bet everyone at FOX News or The Fox Network are shaking in their boots. You go boy. Get EVERYONE, R or D. But wait.....
What will become of Annie Coulter? Maybe you can transform her. But I know she will never appear on your show again. And for Rush, don't suggest anything get to close to his nose, if you get my drift.
In closing, I think that Bill has finally come to understand the mission of MMFA....(Media Miracles for America.) Praise the Lord and pop the popcorn, things at Fox should get interesting.
BILL O'REILLY: Now, a lot of my advisors are saying, "Oh, you know, let the story die. Don't keep talking about it."
Interesting quote...even Billo's own people are telling him to shut the f*ck up.
BILL O'REILLY: "...I'm coming to your house. I'm coming to your house. You'll have a camera up your nose. OK?"
What Billo really meeans is that he's going to send one of his "producers", one of his flunkies, to ambush you with a camera and a microphone. Billo doesn't have the balls to operate in anything other than a favorably controlled environment. Real tough guy, that Billo...
MESSAGE TO BILL O'REILLY:
The next time Keith Olbermann names you Worst Person in the World, if you do not personally go to Olbermann's house and stick a microphone up Mr. Olbermann's nose then you are nothing more than a frightened little wussy-boy without the balls to back up your threats. If you don't personally confront Keith Olbermann you are either a blustering coward or you are tacitly acknowledging that everything Mr. Olbermann says about you is true and correct.
Can we do a brief summary of all the people Bill O'Reilly has smeared and can't back it up? Starting with Media Matters? Plus, Media Matters DID back up what they said--they provided a transcript and audio.
Furthermore, does anyone find it funny that on the original comments, O'Reilly says the people in Sylvia's were "respectful" because "they all watch The Factor." But then, as soon as comments start coming out that these patrons are offended, he claims, "They didn't listen to the Radio Factor"!!
I mean, this isn't a big point in the conservative misinformation scale of things, but it is really funny how O'Reilly will define the truth as whatever is most convenient for him at a given moment!!
It's time for a "Saving BillO From Himself: A Fools Errand" fund drive. All dontations will go to the mental health facility of BillO's choice.
It's sad and bizarre, but I am only pointing out the obvious.
Sounds like Bill just gave some real wingnut a self-defense plea for a murder indictment. "I was afraid BillO would come and get my kids, Your honor, the plea is Not Guilty." ???!
Like some real wingnut, very angry he, a white guy, actually went into a black owned business. Some nut may see that as 'crossing the line'.
There are nuts out there, like that. Garfield, Mc Kinnley and George Wallace were all shot, by a GOP nut's who felt they 'didn't go far enough' to protect the Republican ideology.
Very rare event indeed, but to quote Billo..." I'm just saying..."
Ha! The Archie Bunker Freak-Show rolls on.
“You smear somebody and you can't back it up, you're gonna get it. ... You go after somebody's family, you go after them and smear them with defamation that you can't back up…”
Pot kettle black. Pot kettle black.
Aint this the same Billo Reilly who threatened to destroy Andrea Mackris? When he found out she had audio tapes to back up her allegations, Bully Boy Bill shriveled up, tucked his tail between his legs and settled out of court. Cultural Warrior my ass.
