During the October 5 edition of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh broadcast what he called "a spoof ad from DNC Pharma. ... A new ad for a drug that they have recently introduced to the market: Tryphorgetin." The "spoof ad" declared: "If you are a supporter of Hillary Clinton and you have a nagging fear that her shameful past will come back to ruin her election chances, this message of hope is for you." In a mock testimonial, a woman asserted that after taking "Tryphorgetin," "I even forgot that Hillary stood by her husband even when she learned that he'd raped Juanita Broaddrick. Thank you, Tryphorgetin. Thank you, DNC Pharmaceuticals."

Limbaugh introduced the "spoof ad" by stating: "This is being emailed all over the place. I'm -- you may have heard it, because this is -- it's funny."

From the October 5 broadcast of Premiere Radio Networks' The Rush Limbaugh Show:

LIMBAUGH: One more bite here before we go to the break and then get back to calls. You've got to hear this. This is being emailed all over the place. I'm -- you may have heard it because this is -- it's funny.

It is -- it's a new ad -- it's a spoof ad from DNC Pharma. It's a Bruce Chapman production, DNC Pharmaceuticals. A new ad for a drug that they have recently introduced to the market: Tryphorgetin.

[begin audio clip]

MAN: I had this terrible sense of anxiety, this unshakable sense of doom, but that was before I tried Tryphorgetin.

ANNOUNCER: If you're a supporter of Hillary Clinton and you have a nagging fear that her shameful past will come back to ruin her election chances, this message of hope is for you.

DNC Pharmaceuticals presents Tryphorgetin: more than just a drug, a way of coping.

WOMAN: Hillary was in charge of destroying the reputations of the women Bill sexually harassed. That used to bother me. Then I tried Tryphorgetin. Now I don't even remember what a bimbo eruption is.

MAN: When I tried Tryphorgetin, I completely forgot about the missing files from Vince Foster's office, Chinagate, the Madison Guaranty swindle, money for pardons. It's all just gone. Thanks to Tryphorgetin, I believe there really is a vast right-wing conspiracy that makes Bill jump into the sack with all those girls.

WOMAN: Here's the best part: I even forgot that Hillary stood by her husband even when she learned that he'd raped Juanita Broaddrick. Thank you, Tryphorgetin. Thank you, DNC Pharmaceuticals. I definitely recommend Tryphorgetin to all my fellow Democrats. It's made the difference between -- between -- what was I saying?

ANNOUNCER: Side effects are generally mild and include nausea, dizziness, and loss of self-esteem. In more severe cases, side effects include delusions of victory, irrational exuberance, and the complete suspension of rational judgment.

MAN: Tryphorgetin. Whatever it takes to win.

I'm sure this is being taken out of context.

      Right?

Today Elizabeth Edwards called Limbaugh a draft dodger and wondered how he could even sit in a radio announcer's chair all these years since the anal cyst that got him out of the draft was incurable.

That comment was a lot funnier than Limbaugh's tired old parody of a guy who hasn't been president for 7 years now.

Replace Hilary with (wife/girlfriend of Mark Foley) and the implication of it to Mark Foley and/or about 16 year old Congressional interns and you'd be hearing Rush and the other right-wingers screaming to the top of their collective lungs on the disgust and vileness of the 'liberal' media on this sick attack, claiming that it wasn't funny in any capacity!

Hey Johnny, you know what's funny? I was radio surfing when I heard Rush mention Media Matters, so I tuned in for about 15 minutes and when he played Elizabeth's comments about him, his only response was something like "They're all running against ME now." He's so full of himself that his reaction to a pretty good shot (by a potential First Lady) is to say all the Democrats are running for President against HIM!

I think MMFA needs to put a package together (like they did for Don Imus) of all the low-blow comments and unsubstantiated personal attacks he has made in recent years and send them to the EIB network, Clear Channel or wherever and THEN let's see how much support he still gets from his bosses.

Joking (and lying) about an ex-President RAPING somebody is not funny, no matter how partisan you are, and I'm glad MMFA noticed it cuz I stopped tuning in by the time Rush did the spoof.

Again, this and all the other over-the-line Rush comments/attacks that MMFA has written about over the last 3 or so years needs to be put in ONE BIG article and sent out to his bosses, even if it doesn't lead to him being suspended or fired.  You can't do what Harry Reid did and complain about ONE comment and expect change - Rush's superiors need to know about them ALL.

The least they could do after reading such a list is have a private meeting to tell him to tone down his over-the-line spoofs/insults or risk getting suspended.  He can't have free reign to say what he wants any longer, not on my radio and certainly not on Armed Forces Radio.

Even if Clinton's been out of office seven years, I will always find how he got over on the American public and the  National Organization of Women by his predatory behavior with women.  As a parole officer one of the rarest, albeit interesting personality disorders I found was that of the sociopath....in my professional opinion, "this fits the Bill"...

Time will not diminish the interest in the Clinton presidency

Limbaugh isn't running for president and carping about what he says on his radio show is stupid.  Bill Clinton paid out over $800,000 on a sexual harassment lawsuit.  Hillary Clinton running on a gender-based pitch with that history is a legitimate issue.  She has never gone on record about sexual harassment and whether a Governor sending a state trooper to fetch a state employee to his hotel room so that he could proposition her for sex is of concern to her.  She should be pinned down about it; she's gotten a free ride from the media on it, for sure.

I thought these people were supposed to be the family values folks. The husband is supposed to  be the moral decision maker in the family. From that you would think the Republican "values voters" would be flocking to support Hillery if she stood by her husband no matter what he did.

So is Rush Limbaugh trapped in some sort of time warp where it is still the mid-nineties? Is he pining away for the good ole days when he had a number one radio show, a TV show, and two best selling political tracts (I hesitate to refer to his writing as books)? Does he miss the days before Media Matters existed to catch him in his lies and distortions? Does he miss the days when he was literally and figuratively the biggest man in talk radio? Are the halcyon days before Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, and Bill O'Reilly stole his thunder fading into distant memories in his drug addled brain?

I miss those days too. I was in high school. I had no serious worries. And the worst sins President Clinton ever committed were Whitewater, Monica Lewinsky, NAFTA, and maybe welfare reform. They seem mild in comparison compared to Bush's fascist outrages, don't they?

          1) Not a single vote has been cast in any primary as yet. Wait. 2) Nixon was only saved from impeachment by his resignation. And being impeached and acquitted is no more dishonorable than being indicted, tried and acquitted. 3) in the 90's we were at peace, the budget was balanced, gas dipped below a dollar a gallon, and terrorists foreign and domestic were caught, tried and convicted in the regular courts, and big terrorist plots were thwarted, and America was liked and respected throughout the world. There's something to be said for the 90's.

The only reason Nixon wasnt impeached is because he resigned before the vote. AND he was aquitted in the Senate. There is NO Democrat party. If you ReNAMBLAcans are so ignorant you dont know the name of the largest political party in the US why should we take any of your ignorant rantings seriously?

This whole thread illustrates the hypocrisy of the left. I'm glad you all have shown your true colors. You all are worse than any Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Rush, Savage, Boortz, Levin, Humphries, O'Reilly, or Elder could ever DREAM of being. Congratulaions. You folks are "The Worst People in the World".

"This whole thread illustrates the hypocrisy of the left. "--Bush Lies

My aren't you being a bit harsh as well as hypocritical yourself?  After all, your one of those who thinks it's okay for Limbaugh to say horrible things about the troops who disagree with Bush.  I need you to tell me once again what 'Rush really meant to say' since he needs an interpretor.

And frankly, I get sick and tired of Republicans living on the down low preaching to me about values which don't exist within their own party.  Democrats have always demonstrated a better grasp of values, there was never a need to try to sell it to others.

A feud is going on between Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter.  It all started at a cocktail party when someone commented that although Rush might be prettier, Ann has a penis.

"I even forgot that Hillary stood by her husband even when she learned that he'd raped Juanita Broaddrick."

They sound so sure of themselves don't they - yet isn't it funny how no one ever tried to bring charges in this supposed case, just like the other bogus "scandals" that after millions of dollars and years of investigation turned out to be just more RW witch hunts (e.g. Whitewater).

That's pretty funny!  You leftist whiners just don't have any sense of humor do you?  When are you going to quit letting Rush drive you crazy?

I think the evidence shows that Clinton did in fact rape Juanita Broaddrick. It's amazing that after all that is known about Clinton's sexual problems, the sissies at MMFA would dispute this.
