On the January 30 edition of ABC Radio Networks' Imus in the Morning, while discussing the results of the January 29 Florida presidential primary, host Don Imus described former President Bill Clinton as "a fat, low-rent hillbilly who was getting BJs from an intern in the Oval Office in the White House who was about the age of his daughter." After Bernard McGuirk, the show's executive producer, said, "He's been accused of rape," Imus continued, calling Clinton "a dirtbag."

From the January 30 edition of ABC Radio Networks' Imus in the Morning:

IMUS: And here's what you have to remember about Bill Clinton; you can't forget this.

CHARLES McCORD (news anchor): Yeah?

IMUS: This is a fat, low-rent hillbilly --

McCORD: [laughing] Yes.

IMUS: -- who was getting BJs from an intern in the Oval Office in the White House who was about the age of his daughter. This is a fat boy who, you know, when he sits down with Chris Wallace, Chris can't punch him because the Secret Service is there. But the -- so he's just a, I mean, I don't get that.

McCORD: Well.

McGUIRK: He's been accused of rape.

McCORD: Yeah.

IMUS: He's just a low-rent, no [unintelligible] -- wouldn't even let him live in most trailer parks.

McGUIRK: Sleazebag.

ROB BARTLETT (guest): So what's your point?

IMUS: He's a dirtbag.

'White trash serial sexual offendor" fits a tad better.

Why does he cause so much consternation in your hearts?  Bill Clinton governed more efficiently than any President since FDR.  I'm sure Hillary will be just as good and I figure once she is president the Democrats will establish a forever majority based on the theory that 20 million conservatives' heads will literally explode.

I beg to differ. I believe 20 million Conservatives heads will literally explode long before that IF John McCain gets the Republican nomination....including mine.

BTW, I'm not a huge fan of Romney BUT I have to give the guy kudos here for having the fortitude not to haul off & punch McCain's lights out during last night's debate.

According to Wikipedia, Deirdre Imus was born in 1964 (no date given), and Don Imus was born July 23, 1940.  That makes him 2.4 decades older than his wife.

Being called a fat hillbilly by Imus is like being called ugly by a frog, a snake, a lizard, an egotistical Neanderthal. Where was the outrage among Blacks when Imus once again oozed from his fang-draped lips a vile racial stereotype to demean Blacks, men and women, (fat and skinny, young and old, okay let's throw in the entire human race), when he said that remark about Bill Clinton being the first Black president  because he likes fat, white women? Imus is a foul old man with a foul need to pollute the airwaves.

So what I ask?  Is Bill Clinton an upstanding citizen for getting BJ's in the Oval Office?  Is he a liar and thief like his wife?  Was he sued by other women for a variety of sexual misconduct?  You can answer all these with an astounding YES!  So low rent, low class hillbilly is actually a compliment.

You cannot have it both ways.  This is Don Imus' opinion and you cannot do a thing about it.. BJ Clinton is a public figure.  MMFA and all those who defend him and his fat ugly wife should know all the facts first.

BCBV has questions: "Is Bill Clinton an upstanding citizen for getting BJ's in the Oval Office?"

RESPONSE: No. He's an upstanding citizen for being a very good President for this nation, and devoting his life to public service.

BCBV asks, "Is he a liar and thief like his wife?"

RESPONSE: EMPHATICALLY NO. Neither is a liar OR a thief. Of course, if you can point to a CONVICTION of either legal offense, bring it on, and I will change my view. It's up to you ... EVIDENCE?

BCBV asks: "Was he sued by other women for a variety of sexual misconduct?"

RESPONSE: Uh, he WAS sued by Paula Jones, and the case was thrown out of court. I'm not aware of any other FALSE accusations that made it to a lawsuit. Again ... EVIDENCE?

BCBV: "You can answer all these with an astounding YES!"

        RESPONSE: Not HONESTLY, you can't.

BCBV: "So low rent, low class hillbilly is actually a compliment."

RESPONSE: No, it's namecalling, the complaints are baseless, and that makes YOU beneath contempt.

At any rate I do wish Bill would fade into the background and allow Hillary to succeed or fail on her merits. Bill has created the impression that he is the one running for office. Yer busted. Here's the quote from Clinton that was distorted in the blog post:

"And maybe America, and Europe, and Japan, and Canada -- the rich counties [sic] -- would say, "OK, we just have to slow down our economy and cut back our greenhouse gas emissions 'cause we have to save the planet for our grandchildren." We could do that. But if we did that, you know as well as I do, China and India and Indonesia and Vietnam and Mexico and Brazil and the Ukraine, and all the other countries will never agree to stay poor to save the planet for our grandchildren. The only way we can do this is if we get back in the world's fight against global warming and prove it is good economics that we will create more jobs to build a sustainable economy that saves the planet for our children and grandchildren. It is the only way it will work."

And by the way, Col. Mustard said that you were never in the library with him.

Not sure why MM is still tracking Imus.

If you actually take the time to listen to IMUS more than once all the way through, you can hear that the Imus Show is a daily comedy radio show broken up by so-called serious interviews with real politicians and entertainers and spiked with country music along the way.

Taking Imus' comments out of context and presenting them here, as you continue to do, proves nothing except that you guys at MM have taken your eye off of people like OReilly and Rush, who are hate mongerers, liars, and demigogues, pure and simple.

Add to that the facts the Imus is actually making good on his word by having added real diversity to his cast and he is also having real conversations with a greater diversity of people on the subject of race in America; not mention the singular fact that Imus use his forum to raise public awareness and money for charitable causes all the time !!!

Compared to Bill OReilly, Imus looks like Mother Theresa.

Plus MM could give us more of the nearly daily adolescent hilarity of Chris Matthews - give me more from the infantile mouth of Matthews and leave Imus alone!
