SUMMARY: On the syndicated radio show The War Room with Quinn & Rose, Jim Quinn stated: "If you don't agree with the feminist scolds, then you're not a real woman -- even if you are a very feminine working mom. But even if you're an actual man, never mind a childless feminist who looks like a Bulgarian weightlifter in drag, you're a real woman solely because you nod your head like a windup clapping monkey every time you read the latest editorial from Ms. Magazine."

On the September 15 broadcast of The War Room with Quinn & Rose, co-host Jim Quinn stated: "If you don't agree with the feminist scolds, then you're not a real woman -- even if you are a very feminine working mom." He continued: "But even if you're an actual man, never mind a childless feminist who looks like a Bulgarian weightlifter in drag, you're a real woman solely because you nod your head like a windup clapping monkey every time you read the latest editorial from Ms. Magazine. Recall how they christened Bill Clinton as the first female president, too?" Quinn then added, "But here's the fun part. Feminists are hooked on their own Kool-Aid. They actually believe the stuff they say. The shrill, angry women that you see on MSNBC claiming to speak for all women actually believe that they do."

As Media Matters for America noted, Quinn previously referred to the National Organization for Women as the "National Organization for Whores." Discussing that comment on a later show, Quinn said: "There is a reason for that. The reason is that's just what they are. They're political whores. They are whores for liberalism in general." Additionally, Media Matters documented that Quinn introduced an August 27 segment about Sen. Hillary Clinton by playing the song "The Bitch Is Back."

The War Room With Quinn & Rose is a syndicated radio program based in Pittsburgh on Clear Channel's WPGB 104.7 FM. Talkers Magazine lists Quinn & Rose on its "Heavy Hundred" list, which it describes as a list of the "100 most important radio talk show hosts in America." According to the show's website, it airs on 17 radio stations and XM Satellite Radio.

From the September 15 broadcast of Clear Channel's The War Room with Quinn & Rose:

QUINN: Feminists have argued for decades that womanhood is an existential and metaphysical state of enlightenment, but they have no problem questioning whether women they hate are really women at all. Since we know from basic science that [Gov. Sarah] Palin is a woman -- after all, she's had five kids, for starters -- it's clear that these ideological thugs aren't talking about actual, I mean, you know, facts or anything, they're just doing what people of totalitarian mindsets always do -- they bully heretics, they demonize enemies, and they whip the troops into line. Basically, they refuse to accept reality, which is the hallmark of liberalism.

The academic feminist left has scared the dickens out of the mainstream men and women for so long, the liberal establishment is terrified to contradict feminists -- neigh upon theological conviction -- that female authenticity is measured by one's blind loyalty to left-wing talking points. This is a version of the Marxist doctrine of false consciousness, which holds that you are not an authentic member of the proletariat unless you agree with Marxism.

Now, it works like this: If you don't agree with the feminist scolds, then you're not a real woman -- even if you are a very feminine working mom. But even if you're an actual man, never mind a childless feminist who looks like a Bulgarian weightlifter in drag, you're a real woman solely because you nod your head like a windup clapping monkey every time you read the latest editorial from Ms. Magazine. Recall how they christened Bill Clinton as the first female president, too?

But here's the fun part. Feminists are hooked on their own Kool-Aid. They actually believe the stuff they say. The shrill, angry women that you see on MSNBC claiming to speak for all women actually believe that they do.

Face it:  Us gentlemen will never understand Bulgarian weightlifters.

We work hard every day to give them everything they need - pretty unitards, a good gym, we put food on the training table...  And even with all that, they're still not happy.  They say they don't feel like they're accomplishing something.  WTF?  What I want to know is who's been filling their silly heads with these ridiculous ideas?  What happened to the days when a Bulgarian weightlifter was happy just raising barbells, doing the cleaning and jerking, pressing, and maybe working on their snatch a little?  That sounds like accomplishing something to me.  After a hard days work, putting up with a demanding boss and irrational customers, we just want to go to the gym for a little relaxation, but they're immediately in our ear whining about how we didn't notice that they'd put on a little extra weight...

Nope, guys.  We'll NEVER figure out Bulgarian weightlifters.  So it's a good thing we got a guy like this Quinn feller to keep them in line.

As l said on the previous post, there is a hidden tenth level in Dante's Divine Comedy so scary that he deliberately left it out. It is the level where you are strapped to a chair and are forced to listen to right wing radio and your fingers can just about brush the off switch but cannot turn  the radio off. These guys are a prime example.

      A few random thoughts...

When I watch and listen to Barack Obama I am pretty much oblivious to his race. When I see and hear Hillary Clinton her gender is irrelevant. I see a serious and formidable politician. When I watch and listen to Sarah Palin I see and hear female affectation. Girlish inflections in her voice, coy facial expressions...someone who has learned to use femininity to full advantage in small-town politics. But on a national stage her demeanor stands out as affectatious and shallow...at least in my opinion. Is this what Jim Quinn idealizes? A woman who "acts" like a woman? The real question shouldn't be whether a woman in politics or in the  work force is feminine. It's whether she's competent. But you have to ask yourself if there are ambitious women who use "femininity" to compensate for a lack of substance to achieve their goals. Is Quinn okay with that?

Good questions.  In my experience, there are competent men and women who simply do their jobs without fanfare:  then there are the showboaters, who lack substance but make a big outer show (jesse ventura comes to mind)  Having an excess of personality sometimes can hide incompetence and pettiness.

But don't you think the males in the party are caricatures also?  I mean, Palin looks as if she's Liddy Dole in training, sure, but Giulani, Romney, Graham, and McCain all come off as stock characters also.  They're like old-time movie actors or TV advertisers - the accents are a little too fake, smiles a little too smarmy, the color is faded, and the whole image is just a little creepy and unsettling to a modern eye.

Yes, an elderly white couple in front of their TV.... The only black man they could drum up to speak was Michael Steele, who isn't even in office anymore, and the women were cookie-cutter stereotypes. Speaking of which, I suppose Carly Fiorina is free to play checkers with Phil Gramm for the next 6 weeks now.

The only people trying to paint Edwards as a pretty boy were those who had the same ideas about him that that a few here have about Palin.

She is playing to her attractivness, selling it. If Edwards had made any effort to use this tactic I didn't see it.

It is kind of what you want to use as an attack point on a dem. Either the grooming is excessive, or too drab, wrong colors, wrong material, or dosn't he care what he looks like? You'll always find something to complain about a dem's image and act as if it was of great importance.

I assume you voted for shrub and will for the same reasons/feelings vote republican again. Your happy with how its gone so far and look hopefully for more of the same then?

The main thing to remember about Quinny is that he reads most of his "show". Makes me wonder where he found this on the internets?

Tomorrow between 6-7, he will comment about MMFA but will not explain himself. He will also equate the bailout of AIG to eliminating free speech on the radio..But before then, I will call one of the few advertisers he has and file a complaint with them. Or, I'll have a FEMALE do it.

Check out this article about how Sarah Palin, as soon as she was elected Mayor of Wasilla, redecorated her office, at city expense and without authority in the manner of a bordello. Also, I like the part at the end which even questions her high school basketball career. Locals believe she was given playing time because she sucked up to the coach...

The point here, (concerning S.P.) I think, should be John McCain's judgment/integrity, which is called into question by picking a person about whom he knew so little.  The McCain campaign is also displaying some of the worst habits of the Cheney/Bush Junta, in its aggressive campaign to stonewall the Troopergate investigation.  Facrissakes, they're not even in office yet, and they're already misusing "executive privilege."

It's true. Sarah Palin has been subjected to vicious attacks by liberal feminists who are now conveniently questioning her capacities as a woman and mother. Take this bra-burning women's libber for example:

"I’m stunned - couldn’t the Republican Party find one competent female with adult children to run for Vice President with McCain? I realize his advisors probably didn’t want a “mature” woman, as the Democrats keep harping on his age. But really, what kind of role model is a woman whose fifth child was recently born with a serious issue, Down Syndrome, and then goes back to the job of Governor within days of the birth?"

While it is gratifying to see that so many people on these posts have the intelligence to see Gov. Palin for what she is, keep in mind that most of us are in the same choir. We might have a couple of members who pass gas from time to time, we are still talking to each other. Who else reads MMFA? I must say that other web sites are finally doing their jobs and reporting on this very dangerous woman. (Oh, is that "sexist"?) It is her

personal views about women and her own brief role in politics and how to govern that show her up, not the "attacks" by the mean old media or the Dems.
