Cunningham on Obama Sr.: "That's what black fathers do. They simply leave"
On the October 28 broadcast of his Cincinnati-based radio show, Bill Cunningham stated of Sen. Barack Obama's childhood: "[I]magine at the age of 1 or 2 seeing your father for the last time. See, his father was a typical black father who, right after the birth, left the baby. That's what black fathers do. They simply leave."
Cunningham went on to say: "And so he was raised in that environment by a communist mother who hooks up with a guy named Barry Soetoro, who is a radical Muslim, and they quickly fly to Jakarta, Indonesia, which is where Barry Obama was raised as a little boy. And then he was rejected again by his mother at the age of 10 and sent to Honolulu. And that's all fine, he had nothing to do with it, he was a victim. ... But it's who he is." In fact, Obama's stepfather was named Lolo Soetoro, and contrary to Cunningham's claim that Soetoro was "a radical Muslim," The New York Times has described him as "a nominal Muslim who hung prayer beads over his bed but enjoyed bacon, which Islam forbids," and the Chicago Tribune described him as "much more of a free spirit than a devout Muslim."
Talkers Magazine lists Cunningham among its "Heavy Hundred," which it describes as the "100 most important radio talk show hosts in America." Cunningham's weekend show, Live on Sunday Night, it's Bill Cunningham, is syndicated nationally by Premiere Radio Networks.
From the October 28 broadcast of Clear Channel's The Big Show with Bill Cunningham:
CUNNINGHAM: Imagine being 10 years old, being raised -- imagine being 10 years old in Jakarta, Indonesia, being raised as a Muslim, and your mother, Ann Dunham, hates you so much that she sends you to Honolulu to live with her mom and dad, so she can stay in Jakarta, Indonesia, and being raised -- being married to Barry Soetoro. And imagine at the age of 1 or 2 seeing your father for the last time. See, his father was a typical black father who, right after the birth, left the baby. That's what black fathers do. They simply leave. And so he was raised in that environment by a communist mother who hooks up with a guy named Barry Soetoro, who is a radical Muslim, and they quickly fly to Jakarta, Indonesia, which is where Barry Obama was raised as a little boy. And then he was rejected again by his mother at the age of 10 and sent to Honolulu.
And that's all fine, he had nothing to do with it, he was a victim. I was raised as a Roman Catholic, and I had no choice. But it's who he is. He was raised as a Muslim at the two - at the two schools he attended. One was Christian -- raised as a Muslim -- the other one was secular. Why doesn't he admit the truth? I would vote for a Muslim in a heartbeat if they were a conservative who was pro-life, secured the Southern border, hold down taxes, hold down regulation. I'd have no problem with a Muslim, a Jewish, a Catholic, even an atheist president if he believed in my political viewpoints. But by all the writings of Obama, he's to the left of Karl Marx. He's written articles praising Karl Marx. And this guy's about to seize the presidency because people don't wanna know the facts. They simply want to move on and vote.

CUNNINGHAM: "I would vote for a Muslim in a heartbeat if they were a conservative who was pro-life, secured the Southern border, hold down taxes, hold down regulation. I'd have no problem with a Muslim, a Jewish, a Catholic, even an atheist president if he believed in my political viewpoints."
In other words, Cunningham only votes for people who are as stupid as he is....
CUNNINGHAM: "I would vote for a Muslim in a heartbeat if they were a conservative who was pro-life, secured the Southern border, hold down taxes, hold down regulation."
I give him pro-life and taxes, but what about the Northern border (Canada) and the Western border (Russia [Alaska])? And for "hold(ing) down regulation", wasn't that the problem to the $1 trillion bailout?
"I'd have no problem with a Muslim, a Jewish, a Catholic, even an atheist president if he believed in my political viewpoints."
And as such, you'd probably never vote. There's never been a politician who I've agreed with 100%. The catch is to know what you don't like about a candidate, and as yourself "what can s/he do about it once s/he gets in office?"
Heck, I'd even vote for a black guy, if he hated n***** as much as I do!
nougat ?
Har. Goog guess, Wolf!
good, too.
Funny he didn't mention Romney who almost pulled it off , and a mormon. Wonder if he muses about separation of church and state in his other life ?
Impossible. There is no "separation of church and state".
We're talking about America here. Not Saudi Arabia.
Be nice, Neon, FD didn't get to finish the thought---
Former Democrat Impossible. There is no "separation of church and state"...
"... in th worst places in the world!"
See, now it makes sense.
Impossible. There is no "separation of church and state".
Yes, there is. I'd like to remind you of Thomas Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptists in 1802. This is where the "wall of separation" phrase originated. And who else could state what the Founding Fathers really meant than one of the Founding Fathers himself.
* * * * * * * * * *
To messers Nehemiah Dodge, Ephraim Robbins, & Stephen S. Nelson a committee of the Danbury Baptist association in the state of Connecticut.
Gentlemen
The affectionate sentiments of esteem & approbation which you are so good as to express towards me, on behalf of the Danbury Baptist association, give me the highest satisfaction. my duties dictate a faithful & zealous pursuit of the interests of my constituents, and in proportion as they are persuaded of my fidelity to those duties, the discharge of them becomes more & more pleasing.
Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man & his god, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state. [Congress thus inhibited from acts respecting religion, and the Executive authorised only to execute their acts, I have refrained from presenting even occasional performances of devotion presented indeed legally where an Executive is the legal head of a national church, but subject here, as religious exercises only to the voluntary regulations and discipline of each respective sect.] Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.
I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection and blessing of the common Father and creator of man, and tender you for yourselves and your religious association, assurances of my high respect & esteem.

excellent post and memorialised in my computer for future reference
What country are YOU in?
His own called " utopia "
In case you forgot, the First Amendment reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." This means that there IS separation of church and state.
"That's what black fathers do."
And this is how a racist thinks.
I keep saying it, and I keep repeating it, but when is someone like Cunningham just going to come out and call Obama a N***** like we all know that he wants to? I'm sure he's said it behind closed doors, I'd almost bet my entire life on it.
I'm with you Mag. We seem to have crossed into areas that we'll never be able to return from these last few months. Who knew that America has become such an ugly place with so many hateful people?
Indeed, I think that it has. Which reminds me of a conversation that I had with one of my friends last night. She was saying that people who supported Obama had become nasty and vile, and were bigger jerks than McCain supporters. I had to ask her why she thought this. And reminded her that people at Obama rallies haven't been calling McCain a terrorist, a socialist, a marxist, and folks haven't been shouting out to "kill him" and accused him of being an arab. Funny thing was, I could come up with a bunch of nasty things being said about Obama, but she couldn't point to a specific example of nastiness coming from Obama or his supporters, except to say that they were being mean.
I do hope for one thing from this election (well, other than Obama getting elected). I hope that this implodes the republican party, and that they have to start from scratch almost. I hope that Palin goes back to Alaska and is not seen again, except maybe to take a turn on Dancing with the Stars. I feel like the republican party needs to be re-tooled. They used to be somewhat honorable, and there are many republicans that I respect, it's just that they're not running their party. They are super negative, and are all about attack, attack, and attack some more. Make spurious allegations. Tell outright lies about their oponents. It's kind of sad actually.
Isn't it amazing how quickly one jerk can undo what took a generation to build?
YES! That is why you need to vote for McCain. Our constitution was built with checks and balances, if Obama gets elected, that will be no longer. Our country was built on capitalism and with Obama that is no longer. Finally a Democrat sees what electing Obama will do to this great country.
McCain himself said rich people should pay more money, so I guess he's a socialist too.
As far as checks and balances, too damn bad. Conservatives defended Bush no matter what he did, so now there's going to be a backlash. If there had been some call for accountability within the Republican party, McCain might have had some chance of winning.
Bogus.
You've got it wrong as usual cause I was talking about you racist neo nazi fascist republicans. BTW, me, my wife, my mom, my wifes two brothers, one sister, and mom and dad all voted for Obama. GO OBAMA!
So I guess you voted for Kerry in 2004, right?
We need to unite this country. All McCain has done is divided us more than George Bush has. He and Palin will set back democracy, race relations, science and education fifty years.
We need to reclaim our soul.
John is just a sad, angry little man because he's about to be witness to the Obama landslide, baby! It's gonna be so huge john will have to crawl back under a rock. I predict the electoral map will have 33 blue states and will be laughing my butt off when McCain loses Arizona! Obama is rocking the vote, baby!
This morning's electoral vote projection results from VoteFromAbroad.org:
Obama 364 (28 states & DC)
McCain 171 (22 states)
Ties 3 (1 state - North Dakota)

Funny, this country is NOT a democracy to begin with, and the federal gov't has no constitutional responsibility to intervene in race relations, science OR education.
BTW, it's not the gov'ts job to "spread the wealth around" either.
Does ANYONE remember that supreme law of the land that we call the Constitution?
Criminy, not this nonsense again. A republic is a type of democracy. It's just not a direct or pure democracy.
The government is not restricted to addressing things specifically mentioned in the Constitution. They can intervene in race relations, science and education, as well as many other things.
Ok, where's the authorization in the Constitution. If it's not there, I refer you to the 10th amendment.
From the 10th amendment:
Powers of Congress
Main article: Article One of the United States ConstitutionThe Constitution grants numerous powers to Congress. These include the powers: to levy and collect taxes, provide for common defense and promote the pursuit of liberty; to coin money and regulate its value; provide for punishment for counterfeiting; establish post offices and roads, promote progress of science, create courts inferior to the Supreme Court, define and punish piracies and felonies, declare war, raise and support armies, provide and maintain a navy, make rules for the regulation of land and naval forces, provide for, arm, and discipline the militia, exercise exclusive legislation in the District of Columbia, and make laws necessary and proper to execute the powers of Congress.
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
It's hard to argue that education isn't related to the "general welfare".
He must not have read the 10th amendment. I love the part where it specifically says promote progress in science!
It's an idiotic argument anyway, simply because times change. I don't see anything in the Constitution about fuel efficiency standards, so does that mean they can't do anything about them? Obviously the Founding Fathers weren't so stupid that they restricted the government to things specifically mentioned at the time, and instead provided for flexibility.
So you're dropping the bit about America not being a democracy?
You may want to check your history there fella, because the government wouldn't have passed the 13th and 15th amendments if they didn't have a responsibility to intervene in race relations. And just what do you think the whole issues with indian reservations and indoctrination policies were about if not race relations?
But hey, talk to the republicans about the constitution. Seems they forgot all about the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th amendments.
It's probably good for us that you're no longer a Democrat. No one beats the bedwetters at splitting hairs, redefining words to suit their agenda, and just plain nonsense.
It had better be the governments job to be involved with science and education and to intervene in race relations.
The government has been involved with "spreading the wealth around" since they began to levy taxes. Every tax payer pays for those things that enable us to live in what we like to call society.
Call it what you will but both parties support wealth distribution. The difference is that the Republicans believe in distributing the wealth up the chain and the Democratic Party believes in distributing the wealth equally.
We're involved in two wars. We're also waging what your leader has called a "Global War on Terror". No society has cut taxes during wartime and survived. If you insist on sending troops into harms way, pay your taxes and STFU!
Funny, this country is NOT a democracy to begin with, and the federal gov't has no constitutional responsibility to intervene in race relations, science OR education.
Yes, we are a constitutional republic, but democracy is the underlying principle. And government intervention in the areas of race relations, science, education, etc. can be considered part of "promoting the general welfare", as called out in the Preamble of the Constitution.
I'm glad you call yourself "Former Democrat". I wouldn't want a non-thinking fool like you in my party.
I think we all know that FD was not previously a Democrat. If that were the case, s/he wouldn't spout all this right-wing nonsense. At least a former Democrat would know something about the Constitution - and how the Bush Administration has trampled all over everyone's rights.
Why didn't you mention those violations, FD?
You mean the Constitution that divides church and state? You seem to have forgotten that part. I suggest actually reading the document before you cite it.
Here John boy, this ought to make you all warm and fuzzy inside...
Increasingly, Poll Shows Palin Hurting McCain’s Chances
By MICHAEL COOPER and DALIA SUSSMAN Published: October 30, 2008A growing number of voters have concluded that Senator John McCain’s running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, is not qualified to be vice president, weighing down the Republican ticket in the last days of the campaign, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.
How the Poll Was Conducted (October 31, 2008)
Complete Poll Results (pdf)
All told, 59 percent of voters surveyed said that Ms. Palin was not prepared for the job, up 9 percentage points since the beginning of the month. Nearly a third of voters polled said that the vice-presidential selection would be a major factor influencing their vote for president, and those voters broadly favored Senator Barack Obama.
In a possible indication that the choice of Ms. Palin has hurt Mr. McCain’s image, voters said that they had much more confidence in Mr. Obama to pick qualified people to serve in his administration than they did in Mr. McCain.
If there was ever a president that would protect the constituional checks on executive and legislative power it is Barack Obama. He's gone so far as to say that one of his first, top priorities is to undo, by executive order, every one of Bush anti-terror policies that he and his AG find unconstitutional. So one of his first acts will be to uses his power... to LIMIT his power. He uidnerstadns the constitution better than Bush, Cheney, Palin and, IMHO, Alito, Roberts, Scalia and Thomas.
Conservative judges pretty much never overturn unfair, or overly intrusive laws. Instead defering to the legislature to fix it themselves. WTF? How is THAT a "check on executive & legislative power"? Liberal judges OTH (who the right brand as 'activitsts, legislating from the bench' are the only ones who occasionally DO THEIR F-ING JOB by LIMITING the POWER of the executive and legsliative branches!!! Conservative judges almost always defer to them.
Your thinking about this is completely backwards.
George W Bush began the process with the Patriot Act and subsequent spying on american citizen's without warrants or just cause. Hiding in the sand regarding the last eight years " ain't working."
Very good. You sound just like the wingnuts with no critical thinking skills.
She was saying that people who supported Obama had become nasty and vile, and were bigger jerks than McCain supporters.
I don't understand how people are getting away with saying this. Kudos to you for setting your friend straight, but this meme is all over the corporate media. McCain's ads and his supporters have been disgustingly negative, but Obama and his supporters are merely using McCain's words against him. I haven't seen a single Obama ad that is negative, but it seems that ALL of McCain's ads are negative while being factually incorrect.
I agree, why does he just not come out and say it? He really must be close to contraact renewal time, so he figures if he can spew as much offensive nonsense as his mouth and airtime will allow, he's good for a good ole' raise.
Actually, the more he opens that nasty mouth the more he probably drives people right into the voting booth looking for that Obama lever. Maybe he knows that too, who knows, who cares. The guy is a slug.
I agree, why does he just not come out and say it?
They'll all be calling President-Elect Obama the "N" word on November 5th.....
"What's that?"
"He says the president is NEAR"...
These are common folk. You know...morons.
Notice it's always the republicans killing and mutilating animals in the name of politics? First a bear, now this...
Deer head left at Obama HQ in Colorado Springs
The Gazette
Published October 27, 2008 at 10:59 p.m.
A deer head thrown into the parking lot of a Colorado Springs Barack Obama campaign office Saturday is being seen as a threat, police said Monday. The head was found about 9:30 p.m. by campaign volunteers at 218 S. Limit St. who initially thought it was that of a mule or a horse. Humane Society officials determined that a buck's antlers had been cut off to make the head resemble a donkey, the symbol of the Democratic Party, said Springs police Lt. David Whitlock.
"Clearly, it is a very disturbing event," Whitlock said. "We're certainly concerned that someone would do something so ridiculous."
I worked in Colorado Springs for 8 years before moving to Texas in 2006. I can think of a few possible suspects among my former co-workers......
They'll all be calling President-Elect Obama the "N" word on November 5th.....
Yes. The newly-elected President of the United States.
i doubt he's driving anyone to the voting booth, to vote for obama. i'm guessing the people that listen to his show are the indocrtrinated choir, and will be voting for mccain/palin.
heck, i never even heard of this guy, until i read the articles here about him.
Howard Stern? She was comedy dynamite! God's gift to the funny bone.
I thought the same way pete592...
My dad, like me is white... he left my mom, my two sisters, and me when we were little kids... back in 1974...
Hell... my dad was in bed with his mistress while my mom was pushing out my little sister...so this garbage from Cunningham is beyond sick on its face... it is so not just a black problem... it is however, an American problem!
PS.. As mush as I agree with the whole idea of Freedom of Speech... this guy Cunningham is going places in his words that make it tempting to outlaw... no not really... but I wonder... could he be walking on thin ice... with his boss(es)?
My wife got this off of someone named "cathy" who posted it on CNN...
this was written by a reader named "Cathy" on CNN:
Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin, what if things were switched around? ..think about it. Would the countrys
collective point of view be different? Ponder the following:
What if the Obamas had paraded five children across the stage,
including a three month old infant and an unwed, pregnant teenage daughter?
What if John McCain was a former president of the Harvard Law
Review?
What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating
class?
What if McCain had only married once, and Obama was a divorcee?
What if Obama was the candidate who left his first wife after a severe
disfiguring car accident, when she no longer measured up to his
standards?
What if Obama had met his second wife in a bar and had a long
affair while he was still married?
What if Michelle Obama was the wife who not only became addicted
to pain killers but also acquired them illegally through her charitable
organization?
What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard?
What if Obama had been a member of the Keating Five?
What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker?
What if Obama couldnt read from a teleprompter?
What if Obama was the one who had military experience that included
discipline problems and a record of crashing seven planes?
What if Obama was the one who was known to display publicly, on many occasions, a serious anger management problem?
What if Michelle Obamas family had made their money from beer
distribution?
What if the Obamas had adopted a white child?
You could easily add to this list. If these questions reflected
reality, do you really believe the election numbers would be as close as they
are?
This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes
positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative qualities
in another when there is a color difference.
Educational Background:
Barack Obama:
Columbia University - B.A. Political Science with a Specialization in
International Relations.
Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna Cum Laude
Joseph Biden:

John McCain:
United States Naval Academy - Class rank: 894 of 899
Sarah Palin:

North Idaho College - 2 semesters - general study
University of Idaho - 2 semesters - journalism
Matanuska-Susitna College - 1 semester
University of Idaho - 3 semesters - B.A. in Journalism
Education isnt everything, but this is about the two highest offices in the land as well as our standing in the world. You make the call.
He'd be a typical negro.
I hope that was just a sarcastic reference to cunningham.
This is a good find Snoopy. I totally believe that all you have to do is just switch each candidates' attributes and accomplishments and it would be a totally different story.
When I was a college freshman in 1981/82 I remember a study in one of my anthropology texts showing the pattern of relationships in african american communities. In that study at least black men tended to stay close with their families even after divorce. Now things may have changed since then, i haven't looked at any recent studies, but at the time Obama was a child black fathers, at least according to this one study, were believed to have a strong relationship with their children. Of course Obama's father isn't American and his mother isn't black so it's hard to apply this study to him but if Cunny can make his blanket generalization that "that's what black fathers do" I can make my own generaliztion "bullsh*t".
Gee, wonder who whe thank for this?
Poll: Nearly 1/4 of Texans think Obama is Muslim
The poll conducted this month by the University of Texas found that less than half the state's voters, a majority of whom support John McCain's candidacy, could correctly identify the religion of the Democratic presidential candidate. Obama has been a member of the same Christian church in Chicago for more than 20 years, and he faced controversy earlier this year when controversial statements from the church's former pastor appeared online.
When asked Obama's religion, 22.7 percent of the respondents said Muslim, while 45 percent correctly said Protestant.
If they were thinking they would not be polling like this. They "know" he is Muslim. Just like they know the one true path to the big Escalade lot in the sky is through Jeesus.
Once your whole frame of reference is based on superstition you are primed to believe anything.
YeeeeHawwwwww!!!
Nearly one in four Texas voters erroneously believes Barack Obama is Muslim, according to a new poll.
And the dumbing down continues. Thanks, Gramps!
Agreed.
Great pic. It should say "vote for chance." Like the game of Monopoly in which the neo-cons own the board and all the Community chest and Chance cards...their game is rigged so whenever someone manages to get property it always has a mortgage and they never pass go.
Not just in Texas. My wifes friend still thinks he is a muslim. But we are working on her. Almost there. I am a little surprised they still bring this up for Cassius Clay ( aka Muhamad Ali ) is a real muslim and the republican party used to trot him out on occasion for photo ops. I believe sen Obama is more tolerant of other religions.
I believe sen Obama is more tolerant of other religions
Republicans don't tolerate tolerance of any sort. They want to WIN...to crush anyone who is not like them, whether it's individuals, groups, cultures or even countries. America is a Christian nation to them...and life is a freakin' hockey game. USA!...USA!... USA!...
Ok for all of the ignorant people who think like this racist does let me school you for a min. First off for the person who wrote this
Heck, I'd even vote for a black guy, if he hated n***** as much as I do! that word dosent just apply to black people like it use to it now applies to ignorant people of any race aka the person how posted that message.
Now moving along to the tipic at hand. So I guess all of these white girls, woman who have had kids have their fathers in their lives? I guess none of them stand in the welfare line and staticts show that ther are now more white woman on welfare then black woman, hispanic, or any other race. I guess having a white father in the home to beat their kids to death, lock their kids in cages, sexually assualt them is hell of a lot better then being black and not having a dad around. If I was a single mom I would take that any day.
I am a black woman and sometimes these men dont have a choice for you have woman that will get angry at the for stupid reason and now let the father see the child so its not always the case the man will just up and leave. This elections has brought out the racist in full force and most of them dont even need a mask to hide their hate. I mean you have people killing bears and dears for what? In the name of supporting a white man for president. People stop and think Obama is not fully black he is mixed lol see how stupid this whole thing is
Snoopy allow me to take your questions and answer them for you.
Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin, what if things were switched around? ..think about it. Would the countrys
collective point of view be different? Ponder the following:
What if the Obamas had paraded five children across the stage,
including a three month old infant and an unwed, pregnant teenage daughter? Peopel would have called him unfit. If he cant control his family especially his unwed pregant daughter what makes him fit to lead the world.
What if John McCain was a former president of the Harvard Law
Review?
What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating
class? He cant even graduate top of his class so he is not smart enough to lead us out of trouble
What if McCain had only married once, and Obama was a divorcee? See this is a prime example of a black man not taking care of his own
What if Obama was the candidate who left his first wife after a severe
disfiguring car accident, when she no longer measured up to his
standards?
Oh how dare he, here is a and example of a man who threw his wife away, He probaly had this mistress all the while do we want this man to be our next leader.
What if Obama had met his second wife in a bar and had a long
affair while he was still married? America this man Obama has a sorrid pass where in he cheated on his wife. If he will cheat on his wife then he will cheat you on your taxes.
What if Michelle Obama was the wife who not only became addicted
to pain killers but also acquired them illegally through her charitable
organization? America I bet you Michelle was born a crack baby a woman that buts drugs ahead of her family. How can we trust her to be first lady when she is always out looking for the next drug dealer.
What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard? lol to funny
What if Obama had been a member of the Keating Five? America this man has done such horrible things with a group of men that have put our ecomony in grave danger
What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker? lmbo umm not gonna happen lol
What if Obama couldnt read from a teleprompter? See this is what happends when you drop out of school. You dont take advantage of our educational system. How can he read documents that will keep our country safe if he cant read whats printed in front of him
What if Obama was the one who had military experience that included
discipline problems and a record of crashing seven planes?See Obama was a rouge he led his platton in danger and he didnt have any regards for the safety of those whose life he held in his hands. Dont trust him to do the right thing once he gets into the white house
What if Obama was the one who was known to display publicly, on many occasions, a serious anger management problem? Obama is a angry black man. It has to do with his upbringing and his father leaving him at a young age.
What if Michelle Obamas family had made their money from beer
distribution? Michelle Obama is trying to get our kids hooked on beer. Her family dosent have the American Citizens best intest at heart.
What if the Obamas had adopted a white child? Oh he only did that top play on the sympathy of the white voters.
You could easily add to this list. If these questions reflected
reality, do you really believe the election numbers would be as close as they
are?

I would vote for a Muslim in a heartbeat if they were a conservative who was pro-life, secured the Southern border, hold down taxes, hold down regulation. I'd have no problem with a Muslim, a Jewish, a Catholic, even an atheist president if he believed in my political viewpoints.--BC
Contrary to the tone of the comments so far, I believe he means this. I've heard his show a handful of times. He's not an ideologue. He's standard issue GOP propagandist. They are professionals whose mission is to help the GOP help the wealthy by nominating and then electing the best possible person for that task.
As a practical matter they can only go so far and still get their guys elected. Race, religion, etc. is a factor, especially in GOP primaries. But in theory if they could totally bypass the bigoted-vote, they would. If there was a guy that they thought that could get past that hurdle (maybe Colin Powell for instance--I don't know) they'd do their propaganda thing for him, only with different talking points. If Powell was to have run (and the money-men had decided that he would both be their lackey and that he was electable) they'd perhaps play up how "the GOP is non-racist as compared to the Democrat Party who are the true racists and hypocrites to boot."--- and all kinds of other memes flexibly created or adapted to the task at hand.
They'd all modify their palaver to suit the new assignment, at least all those I've heard. Even Limbaugh. They have based much of their propaganda on an anti-outsider appeal, true enough. It would be awkward for them, but they are not friends of consistency any more than the truth. Perhaps they'd spin it so that they were fighting off the worse outsider or real outsider in the Democrat candidate to their only nominal outsider. They are very creative and they have people who feed them ideas. I'm saying the only thing that would stop them from trying to elect a gay Black Muslim woman would be if they honestly felt they couldn't sell it to their audience and maintain that audience. ( And it's very unlikely they could, but I'm talking theoretically and situations do change---who would have expected a woman GOP VP nominee prior to Sen. Clintons' emergence as a candidate?)
In private are they more racist or anti-blank than the average person? Maybe, maybe not. But what counts is that they will do or say on the air whatever suits---and that's regardless as to what their personal feelings may be. It's similar to many businessmen who don't consume or even like their your own product but who market and sell it nonetheless.
And another thing while I'm at it. These GOP propagandists are not stupid people. I wish they were. They have the burden of not having the truth on their side. It's much easier to effectivly try to persuade someone if you are on the level and speaking to an audience which is interested in the truth. They have to constantly double think and creatively invent/modify and remember an illussory narrative, as well as keep in mind what their audience wants to hear.
The right is getting desperate, aren't they...sad.
