Doocy ignores Fox personalities' role in advancing "death panels" smear
On Fox & Friends, Steve Doocy debunked the "death panels" smear but completely ignored the role of Fox News hosts and guests in advancing it, saying "these so-called death panels as you have read about on the blogosphere and heard about elsewhere, these have been so incendiary, using that term -- and what they were referring to was this provision in the House bill that ... would provide funding so you could talk to a doctor and others about living wills and also hospice care and stuff like that. But it has been such a third-rail issue." Fox personalities have repeatedly fearmongered and misinformed on "death panels" and end-of-life care provisions in health reform legislation.
Doocy debunked "so-called death panels" "you have read about on the blogosphere and heard about elsewhere"
From the August 14 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:
DOOCY: Ali just a minute ago mentioned that the president is going to be in Bozeman today, where things could actually be a little noisier, because they're -- it's going to be on a first-come, first-served basis if you want to show up. But remember earlier in the week when the president was up in New Hampshire, and he mentioned the rumor of, quote, "death panels that will basically pull the plug on grandma."
Well, these so-called death panels as you have read about on the blogosphere and heard about elsewhere, these have been so incendiary, using that term -- and what they were referring to was this provision in the House bill that said, OK, at the end of life, we would talk to -- we would provide funding so you could talk to a doctor --
BRIAN KILMEADE (co-host): Right.
DOOCY: -- and others about living wills and also hospice care and stuff like that. But it has been such a third-rail issue.
Fox hosts and guests fearmongered, misinformed on "death panels" and end-of-life care
Kilmeade: "[A]re seniors going to be in front of the death panel? ... [S]eniors in the last lap of their life will be sitting there going to a panel, possibly discussing what the best thing for them is." On Fox & Friends, co-host Brian Kilmeade said, "[E]veryone's talking about seniors, and they're talking about the middle class and affordable health care. If the upper class is paying for the next two classes, and are seniors going to be in front of the death panel? And then just as you think, OK, that's ridiculous, then you realize there's provisions in there that seniors in the last lap of their life will be sitting there going to a panel, possibly discussing what the best thing for them is." [Fox & Friends, 8/10/09]
Beck on "death panel" claim: "I believe it to be true." On his radio show, Fox host Glenn Beck stated, "So, why is there no more discussion than there is on Sarah Palin and what she said over the weekend that there would be ... [a] death panel for her son Trig. That's quite a statement. I believe it to be true, but that's quite a statement." [Premiere Radio Networks' The Glenn Beck Program, 8/10/09]
Doocy suggested that under health care reform, you'll be asked, "[I]sn't it just time?" During a segment on "rumors" about end-of-life care, Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson stated that "if you were looking for a way to cut costs, some people argue -- who don't agree with this health care reform bill -- they argue that, yeah, maybe they will decide to not give elderly people the care that many people believe they deserve to continue their life." Doocy subsequently claimed, "Besides, you look at other countries that have nationalized health care situations, frequently there's a board that sits there and they go, 'OK. You're 85. You know, this $75,000 surgery just doesn't make sense. So rather than you winding up with this new life-saving thing that could extend your life, you know, isn't it just time?' " [Fox & Friends, 7/29/09]
Malkin on Fox & Friends: Health care reform "puts a discount on the lives of elderly people." Discussing AARP's support for health care reform, conservative columnist Michelle Malkin stated, "The AARP just held a tele-town hall supporting Obama on his health care takeover plans, and this is at odds, it seems to me, with the best interests of millions of AARP members, given that that health care plan puts a discount on the lives of elderly people and would result in the redistribution of health away from the elderly and the infirm to other special favored interests and patients." [Fox & Friends, 7/30/09]
Hannity: Bill includes "mandatory advisory counseling sessions with the elderly." On the July 27 edition of Fox News' Hannity, Fox News contributor Dick Morris stated that senior citizens are "getting that this is creeping euthanasia." Host Sean Hannity replied that "they're going to have mandatory advisory counseling sessions with the elderly about their, quote, 'options.' I mean it's eerie." [Hannity, 7/27/09]
Fox News' Johnson claimed health care reform "a subtle form of euthanasia." Fox News legal analyst Peter Johnson Jr. said on the July 27 edition of Fox & Friends: "Some people are saying, well, this is a health care reform; other people are saying -- maybe me -- that this is a subtle form of euthanasia. And when you start looking at the proposals, you say, 'God, what's happening?' One of the proposals, Section 1233, talks about advanced care planning consultations. And that's a fancy term where a doctor goes to you every five years once you're 65 -- or more if you're chronically ill -- and explains to you the benefits of so-called palliative care, of not giving active treatment." Johnson later added, "The hospital room becomes the waiting room -- you know, do not go gently into that good night." [Fox & Friends, 7/27/09]

For these ass-clowns to do anything less... would be a shock to their systems!
Also notice the continued spin. While admitting that their was no death panel proposal, they bring up the straw man that the government has no role in end of life decisions. This is bogus. The plan was that consultations with DOCTORS!!!!!! would be covered. No one was ever proposing that government beaurocrats would be consulted!!!!.
If they actually are that insane and stupid as they are on the show, it's the easiest job.
However, if they get directions they can't dispute, it must be difficult. Not only are they told to spew out lies and fear-monger, but they are then told to contradict themselves and walk around in an illogical maze of absolute tripe.
What I don't understand is how they can have people watching them everyday without the viewers thinking "wait a minute, this is the third time this week they contradicted themselves... Not even discretely. They must really think I'm stupid?". Not only does Rupert Murdock think Fox viewers are stupid, they are -.-
Americans need to understand the “type” of health care they will receive from the government might end their life. Americans attending town meetings and having the right to speak is the only way that “The People” can take their country back.
It is said that nurses work for the hospital not for the patient.
The PLAN: This video will give you history and an understanding of what has been going on in our world. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3399796904891753774
The government has been working on a giant data base for 10 years that will hold as much information on American citizens as they can gather from all information sources including school and police records.
This Information Technology (IT) data base will contain from the cradle to the grave information on each US citizen.
In 2004, President Bush signed into law "Project Bioshield Act of 2004," which authorizes the secretaries of the DHS and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to take virtual control of the bodies of all American citizens during a national emergency. Health officials are empowered to compel everyone to receive state-mandated medications, vaccinations or devices (implants).
http://www.fda.gov/RegulatoryInformation/Legislation/FederalFoodDrugandCosmeticActFDCAct/FDCActChaptersIandIIShortTitleandDefinitions/ucm086297.htm
Former Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson (who also ran for US president in 2008) became the largest share holder in Verichip (manufactures implant devices that will track humans and work with the government health data base. Tommy Thompson wanted every US citizen implanted with the device by the end of 2005. That did not happen but it is happening gradually and also in other countries.
If a law for governmental health insurance goes through, what will stop the government from implanting those data storage devices? Whether or not the government tries to force citizens to be injected with drugs, immunizations or devices, they will know what is going on with you and you might not.
HIPPA can prevent people from information while handing it out at any time to entities like organ transplantation industry.
Doctors are now admitting that it is the organ harvesting that kills the patient who had been falsely pronounced dead.
Still now the perverted transplantation industry is looking for more and easier ways to pronounce a living person DEAD so that they can use that living body for harvesting of organs, or living dissection (research/education) –SEE: CONTROVERIES IN THE DETERMINATION OF DEATH “A White Paper by the President’s Council on Bioethics” DECEMBER 2008 http://www.bioethics.gov/reports/death/index.html
SEE: May 13, 2009 Brain death, states of impaired consciousness, and physician-assisted death for end-of-life organ donation and transplantation http://www.springerlink.com/content/xu6n305k7q7475t3/
Which states: “(5) The scientific uncertainty of defining and determining states of impaired consciousness including brain death have been neither disclosed to the general public nor broadly debated by the medical community or by legal and religious scholars. Heart-beating or non-heart-beating organ procurement from patients with impaired consciousness is de facto a concealed practice of physician-assisted death, and therefore, violates both criminal law and the central tenet of medicine not to do harm to patients". How organs are harvested and the state of the patient during harvesting is also not being told to society.
If you think you have power over yourself by advance directive – you might not! The organ transplantation industry steps in and keeps you ventilated so they can harvest your parts (if they want to).
SEE: “The default choice trumps the expressed intent in an individual's advance health care directive to withhold and/or withdraw life support systems at the end-of-life. The Revised UAGA (2006) overrides advance directives on utilitarian grounds, which is a serious ethical challenge to society”.

Placing trust in Representatives and Senators have gotten us to this point, and "We the "People" have been deceived for a very long time by these end-of-life actions.
The TRUTH is not hard to understand so why have elected officials not been protecting "The People" in the past when passing bills? Unfortunately most Representatives and Senators have walked along with "Big Business" instead of doing what is truly best for "The People" and those choices have taken us on the road we now stand.
The most important part of a good health bill would be declaration to protect the life of each and every American citizen by giving good thorough medical care that is only geared to help heal that patient in view of them being a whole and unique human being.
Do you know that in the past two years almost all states of the USA have passed into law what is called the Uniform Anatomical Gift Act 2006 that makes the care of your “parts” (organs) more important than the care of yourself (as a patient).
“Measures necessary for the suitability of the part” can mean anything the organ industry wants it to mean but it’s all about making your “parts” optimal for someone else to use and this is done while the patient is very much alive. Those measures, procedures and treatments can certainly harm the patient. Commonly used on injured, vulnerable patients are large quantities of intravenous fluids, induced hypothermia, paralyzing drugs, induced coma, etc. Unknown to families, donors can be drugged and kept unconscious until death.
The House bill states on page 425: "(A) An explanation by the practitioner of advance care planning, including key questions and considerations, important steps, and suggested people to talk to". The push here is to get every citizen to have an advanced directive, living will and durable powers of attorney. A "living will" has nothing to do with living but has the ability to be a license to kill (by way of “comfort drugs” that can cause breathing to stop) handed to a doctor (and of course an organ procurement person will be hovering over that patient in hopes to use (it) for harvesting/research/education. A patient’s durable power of attorney may not know their loved one is being drugged into an unconscious state and never given a chance to recover because the plan is to shorten that patient’s life for one reason or another. Statements have been made such as “that ICU bed could be used for someone else”! Organs can be exchanged through Health and Human Services Medicare for big money. A single person parts especially the young can make a million dollars for the industry.
The UAGA 2006 bill was wrote in 2006 and has currently passed in almost all states in the USA.
This is what the UAGA 2006 has changed: The unsound minded person can now become a donor but will have a more difficult time to state a refusal to be a donor (a refusal will require an expressed statement and two signatures and with the unsound minded person their guardian must do it for them).
The UAGA 2006 lacks the requirement for full and explicit informed consent standards. In fact, they want to keep you in the dark because the truth is the harvested people were never dead when their organs are removed.
The UAGA 2006 allows technicians instead of surgeons to harvest body parts.
A donor’s revocation (changing their mind about being a donor) of an anatomical gift of the donor’s body or part is not a refusal and shall not bar another person from making an anatomical gift of the donor’s body or part. Now more people are on a list that can make this donation decision for you including friends!
The UAGA 2006 allows children as young as 15 ½ years of age to consent to organ donation when they go for their drivers permits. Children’s parts may be taken without any extra consent although the law states "if a parent is reasonably available". But do you think the search for a parent will be as diligent when a child has consented to be a donor as the search for a parent of a child who has refused to be a donor?
In the House bill, the "suggested people to talk to" will be professional end-of-life sales people who would be able to talk most people into anything. But they will not tell you that a person who enters a hospital with a DNR is referred to the organ donation center industry. Most people are unaware that the government passed laws requiring hospitals to contact the organ industry and now years later it has advanced to where organ harvesting personnel are actually stationed in hospitals waiting for the injured to arrive through ER.
Chuck Norris recently wrote this: ["Dirty secret No. 1 in Obamacare is about the government's coming into homes and usurping parental rights over child care and development.
The bill says that the government agents, "well-trained and competent staff," would "provide parents with knowledge of age-appropriate child development in cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor domains ... modeling, consulting, and coaching on parenting practices," and "skills to interact with their child to enhance age-appropriate development.""]
Any one with knowledge in eugenics (ridding the world of undesirables) can understand where this part of the bill can take our country. Don't think it can't happen, because it already is in the Netherlands. Young living babies/toddlers are being screened and determined whether or not to be put to death.
Page 840 sums it up when it states: "(D) home visitation programs supported using such funds will, when appropriate, provide referrals to other programs serving children and families; and
"(E) the State will comply with subsection (i), and cooperate with any evaluation conducted under subsection (j).

But maybe most workers will not even know what is truly going on because the determinations will be made by the Health and Human "Secretary" by means of the giant data base. Ex-Governor of Alaska, Sara Palin has described the selectors as the "death panel".
