From the November 16 edition of Hannity:

MORRIS: Obama on the one hand says he's against a congressional investigation of Fort Hood because he doesn't want to kindle political theater but he's going to put KSM on trial in New York City, the heart of theater.

Fact: Obama said Congress "should" investigate, but noted that "[t]here is an ongoing [military and federal] investigation"

Obama: "I know there will also be inquiries by Congress, and there should." In his November 14 weekly address, Obama noted that there is an "ongoing investigation" by military and federal officials into the Fort Hood murders and "the sequence of events that led up to the shooting." He added, "I know there will also be inquiries by Congress, and there should. But all of us should resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater that sometimes dominates the discussion here in Washington. The stakes are far too high."

The right wing simply cannot afford to portray the opposition's position on anything honestly. If they did, they would never gain any political ground.

The way I see it, your political agenda must not be worth advancing if you have to lie in order to advance your political agenda.

Therefore, the conservative agenda is not worth advancing.

One could well imagine this would elicit a "what does he [Obama] have to hide" (vis a vis Ft. Hood) in the minds of Hannity's audience. Given the well-documented bent of this show, intent to do this does not seem out of the question.
