FOLLOW-UP REPORT: Beck and Hannity again devoted little coverage to earthquake in Haiti
After receiving criticism for giving little coverage to the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Fox News' three top-rated programs for 2009 devoted scant coverage to the disaster for a second night -- a combined total of 20 minutes and 40 seconds on January 14 -- while MSNBC's three top-rated shows devoted more than an hour and 45 minutes to discussing Haiti. The vast majority of the coverage on Fox's top-rated shows aired on The O'Reilly Factor; Beck's and Hannity's shows each aired less than four minutes of coverage of the disaster.
MSNBC's top programs again devote significantly more time to discussing aftermath of earthquake in Haiti
The O'Reilly Factor, Hannity, and Glenn Beck, Fox News' three top-rated programs for 2009, combined to devote a total of 20 minutes and 40 seconds of coverage to the earthquake in Haiti and its aftermath. Among the things Beck discussed instead of the earthquake were Senate majority leader Harry Reid's controversial comments; Hannity discussed the possibility that Republican candidate Scott Brown could win a special election for Massachusetts' U.S. Senate seat. Countdown, The Rachel Maddow Show, and Hardball, MSNBC's three top-rated shows, devoted 1 hour, 45 minutes, and 27 seconds to the earthquake -- more than five times the coverage aired by Fox News' top three shows.

A Media Matters study previously showed that Fox News' top-rated shows devoted less than seven minutes of coverage to discussing the earthquake on January 13, compared to MSNBC, which underscored the significance of the disaster in Haiti by devoting a total of more than two hours to the earthquake on its top-rated shows.

...............THE CHILDREN....................
You are wrong.
Fox Viewers see what happened in Haiti and say "Oh, that minority".
Race baiters see what happened in Haiti and say "How can I make this racial"
Another Place on This Site
Most people see what happened in Haiti and say "Oh the Humanity".
Fox Viewers see what happened in Haiti and say "Oh, that Hannity ".
Sean and Glenn have no interest in the coverage of black people in Haiti. And everyone knows Sean's history of how he treats black people. Just ask Hal Turner.
You are the one suggesting racism here. You are making up lies to make a point. Not the best of tactics, but one liberals use most often.
To rally the people to support Haitian relief might mean rallying the people behind our Commander-in-Chief, and thus increase his approval among the American people.
We can't have that happen, now can we?
Though, I am not saying that political opportunism is that much better than racism.
They're = they are
[first post from your newest troll...muhahahaaaa]
Speaking truth to/about progressives with a shout out to Ms. Coakley, who herself will be looking for disaster aid.
tl;dr NO.
Go back to Freeperville with that kind of talk. They are discussing about how its Obama's fault and how he's using it to gain political favors.
Ignore the topic? Nothing to do with what we are talking about here?
I thought it made perfect sense to juxtapose our president's quick handling of one "man made disaster" compared to, at least according to Danny Glover, another man made disaster in Haiti. And what could be wrong with that?
As far as the shout outs, I do them all the time to remind Americans of how some have demonstrated their priorities in the past, and to keep it up to date. That's all, just a reminder that I am here to speak truth to/about progressives with a shout out to some deserving recipient, such as ms. coakley or say Danny Glover. :)
Or this one:
And them shout outs....oh those shout outs. Of course who can forget the ultimate presidential shout out. Ol' "Heck of a job, Brownie".
Consider this a blanket withdrawl of my thumbs up to your now obviously political coverup of your intentions.
I knew your showing compassion and reason was too good to be true.
I retract my thumbs up.
What a disgrace these hypocrites are. And not one of the libs here have the integrity to call them on it. In fact most defend them. Change we can believe in.

Haiti Earthquake: Looking for a way to help?... it links directly to Doctors without Borders
Limbaugh, he has a link at the bottom of his site " Haiti Earthquake, latest news and relief information"
Redstate and footballs, I am not familair with, but based on the previous 3 examples it would not surprize me to see you were wrong about them too. Care to change your post?
One thing is certain, media matters has NOTHING on their site except to solicit donation to themselves.
Here's hannity's site. Amazingly he actually tries, unlike the bigots you defend, beejote....
Perhaps he can take a hint from Sean Hannity about how to look compassionate...
But boy, a floating link that appears and disappears? You think that's an act of compassion? What a hypocrite, disparaging MMFA for their links while you praise the reichswine for "floating" links! Thats why you're a bigot, little beejote. All mouth, pure hypocrital bigotry, no facts to post. Perhaps you wear a shiny gold or silver cross like jewelry too, eh little beejote?
By the time I go to Media Matters.
I have already given money to help Haiti and her children , more than one time!
I have also told all my friends around MOTHER EARTH how to help!
They to gave to save the children !
I do not need Media Matters to show me the way!

Funny how you have been silent for the last 2 days as I have been pointing out about the lack of concern from the dweebs at media matters. Feel better now?

Televangelist Pat Robertson blamed the devasting earthquake in Haiti on a "pact with the devil."
Robertson, of course, has a pretty long history with this sort of thing.
Here's how you can help the victims via text message.

glennbeck.com, that's another one with lots of self aggrandizing and posturing but nothing in the way of humanitarian appeals or ways to help.
The callous right, up to business as usual.

Yes, and? There is nothing at the bottom of that page.
Oh looky! Yep, you're still an idiot.
You must have gotten real antsy wondering if they would eventually mention it. Do you feel better now?
We need to accept the facts that we all want what's good for this country, w just disagree how to get there.
I think Jon Stewart said it best on his show. To paraphrase, this isn't the time for this crap. Just shut up and help. To think that you haven't stopped bickering for even a day on this story is just mind-blowing, but it does expose the true colours of America's Right and Left wings as political opportunists first and human beings second.
So sad.
Also, since MSNBC has no money and they can't exactly praise Barack Obama, of course they will give extensive coverage on Haiti... They can't afford to report on anything else with their ratings. They probably stole all their clips from FNC and CNN.

And now Dobbs wants to add his ranting to the FOX "media" team.
Those of us who want news don't get it from cable channels anyway.
Randall E. King, a professor of media communications at Indiana Wesleyan University, said he was surprised and disappointed to see Fox devote so little attention to the story. King said the evening hours are crucial because they signal what a TV outlet views as the day's most compelling topics.
"When a real crisis comes and there's an opportunity to really serve as a leading news organization, to make a conscious decision to not cover this is an abandonment of journalistic responsibility," said King. The one-time television reporter said the prime-time hosts, despite their opinion focus, should have paid more attention to the crisis just off our southern border.
there are the news for white nationalsit
FoxNews.com has had total coverage from minute 1...
On MSDNC they were going over and over about just how nice the Haitians were to be helping each other, there was no report of troublemakers.
I went to another channel (don't know which one) and the reporter was showing men with hammers, etc., breaking into a building, supposingly to help people.
Then he found this was a Bank building, and the men were headed for the Bank Vault. Then he noticed that rather than hammer to save others, he found they were hammering to get the re-bar, so they could sell it.
That same effort could have saved lives, but that was not what they were after.
Aw well, MSDNC is the most hate filled channel. In a few minutes each day, you will hear more hate than on Rush in 20 years.
Just the day before, I was telling a friend that I never expected to see him in any type off humanitarian effort. I had to go back and let him know about my miatake.
Media Matters... "same ole tired song, different day". As the whole nation mobilizes to help a nation in crisis, the journalistically challenged continue to foment discontent and divisiveness.
How about devoting money to the cause and less self-righteous rhetoric.
once again mma is against free and unrestricted press.
At least MSNBC cares about the Haitian earthquake victims.
Every media outlet should be on 24-7 Haiti coverage until the healthcare bill sneaks through. And the MA special election is over. And until midterm elections are over.
