Boortz again referred to victims of Hurricane Katrina as "parasite[s]"

On his radio show, Neal Boortz asked: "[W]hy is it that the people who are being affected by the floods in Iowa and the upper Midwest, why is it that they seem to be so much more capable of taking care of themselves and handling this disaster than were the people of Katrina in New Orleans?" Boortz continued, "I think the answer's pretty clear, is that up there in that part of the country, you find a great deal of self-sufficiency. Down there in New Orleans, it was basically a parasite class totally dependent on government for their existence."

Saying he was cited by "Media Morons," Boortz again smears Mexicans: "[A]ny Mexican worth his salt would be able to" operate a floor buffer "without getting hurt"

Talking with the Media Research Center's Brent Bozell, Neal Boortz said: "I'm on 'Media Morons' today ... because I said yesterday on the air that I would make a lousy Mexican because I was trying to use one of those floor buffers and it tossed me around ... when any Mexican worth his salt would be able to do that without getting hurt."

Boortz: "[P]rimary blame" for Katrina goes to "worthless parasites who lived in New Orleans"

On his nationally syndicated radio show, Neal Boortz made disparaging remarks about Hurricane Katrina victims, stating, "When these Katrina so-called refugees were scattered about the country, it was just a glorified episode of putting out the garbage." Boortz also described New Orleans as "a city of parasites, a city of people who could not and had no desire to fend for themselves."

Boortz said Muslims are "sort of like cockroaches," continued to attack "Media Myrmidons"

On his radio show, Neal
Boortz claimed that because "Muslims don't eat during the day during Ramadan"
and "fast during the day and eat at night," they are "sort of like cockroaches."
Immediately following the remark, Boortz said, "I did that for Media Myrmidons"
-- his term for Media Matters for America.

Media conservatives hype discredited NewsBusters post on background foliage in Clinton video

Numerous media conservatives
have touted a discredited post on the Media Research
Center's NewsBusters
weblog to baselessly claim that Hillary Clinton recorded her announcement video
launching her presidential bid months prior to actually announcing. Even though
the post was later updated to add that a
reporter "whom I respect informs me that video was produced last week in DC," hosts such as
Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity touted the NewsBusters post to support the claim.
