Media asserted that McCain flew coach in 2007, without noting expenditure records showing payments for use of wife's jet

Despite the availability of expenditure reports showing that Sen. John McCain's campaign used a corporate jet owned by his wife's company over a seven-month period beginning in the summer of 2007, several members of the media asserted earlier this year that McCain flew coach when the campaign was low on funds.

Fox News Radio's Sullivan predicted African-American "riots in the streets" if Obama were to lose to McCain or Clinton

Discussing Sen. Barack Obama's speech on race in America, Fox News Radio's Tom Sullivan asked, "What if Barack Obama is not -- does not win the Democratic nomination, or he does win it, and loses in the presidential race against John McCain? ... [W]ill there be riots in the streets? I think the answer to that is yes and yes."

O'Reilly: "I don't want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama unless there's evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels"

In a discussion of recent comments made by Michelle Obama, Bill O'Reilly took a call from a listener who stated that, according to "a friend who had knowledge of her," Obama " 'is a very angry,' her word was 'militant woman.' " O'Reilly later stated: "I don't want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama unless there's evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels. If that's how she really feels -- that America is a bad country or a flawed nation, whatever -- then that's legit. We'll track it down."
Fox News Radio's Tom Sullivan aired "side-by-side comparison" of speeches by Hitler and Obama

Fox News Radio host Tom Sullivan took a call from a listener who stated that when listening to Barack Obama speak, "it harkens back to when I was younger and I used to watch those deals with Hitler, how he would excite the crowd and they'd come to their feet and scream and yell." Sullivan then played a "side-by-side comparison" of a Hitler speech and an Obama speech. Sullivan mimicked the crowd during both speeches, yelling, "Yay! Yay!" When a later caller complained that Sullivan was "denigrating" Obama with the comparison, Sullivan said he wouldn't play it again, then begged: "Can I, please, one more time? Just one more time? Then I won't do it again. ... Until the next time."

Fox allowed Ralph Reed to repeat Bush's false claim that "Obama has said that he will embrace Ahmadinejad"

On The Big Story, Ralph Reed repeated the false claim that Sen. Barack Obama "has said that he will embrace [Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad," a claim President Bush made recently on Fox News Sunday, which was not challenged by Chris Wallace. John Gibson did not rebut Reed's assertion.

Gibson, acknowledging he mocked Ledger's death, said: "There's no point in passing up a good joke"

John Gibson responded to criticism of his comments the previous day mocking the death of actor Heath Ledger, and said "Did I mock him?" After Gibson's producer pointed out that Gibson had in fact mocked Ledger's death, Gibson replied, laughing, "Oh, that. Well," later adding, "There's no point in passing up a good joke."

Gibson defended his comments about race of school shooter, attacked "Soros-backed" Media Matters

On his radio
show, John Gibson said:
"Media Matters for
America, a Soros-backed, Hillary Clinton-backed media hit-job
website is after me
today because of what I said last night, and they are calling me a racist for what I said about
this [school shooting]
at SuccessTech in Cleveland."
In fact, the item documenting Gibson's comments did not characterize him
or his comments as racist. Also, philanthropist
George Soros has never given money to Media
Matters, either directly or through another organization, nor is Media
Matters funded by or affiliated with any candidate or
political party.

Gibson knew school shooter was white because "[b]lack shooters don't" shoot themselves; "they shoot and move on"

On his radio show, while discussing an incident in which a student shot four
people at his Cleveland high school before killing
himself, John Gibson asserted
that "I know the shooter was white. I knew it as soon as he shot himself.
Hip-hoppers don't do that. They shoot and move on to shoot again."

Bill O'Reilly repeated his

previous attacks on Media Matters and

MoveOn.org, calling the two organizations "the most vicious element in

our society today" and referring to their employees as

"assassins." He also stated that that the Democratic Party is

"afraid of its fringe element," which "is centered around an

outfit called Media Matters," and

Fox News' John Gibson's "interpretation" of Clinton comment: "Hillary makes a deal with Al Qaeda"

Fox News' John Gibson stated that it "appears" a comment Sen. Hillary Rodham
Clinton made at an August 23 campaign event about the potential consequences of
another terrorist attack "was sending this signal, as they say, to Al Qaeda,
that it would, it would not be smart to attack the United States of
America before the election." Gibson went on to
assert that "Hillary makes a deal with Al Qaeda."
