NPR's Rudin said "I wish I hadn't" compared Clinton to Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction

National Public Radio political director Ken Rudin wrote in an April 30 blog post: "[D]id I really say on CNN that Hillary Clinton reminded me of Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction? I did. I wish I hadn't. It was a facile and dumb comparison." As Media Matters for America noted, while discussing the Democratic presidential primary race on the April 27 edition of CNN's Sunday Morning, Rudin said, "Hillary Clinton is Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction."

During a discussion on CNN about the Democratic presidential primary race, NPR's Ken Rudin stated: "[L]et's be honest here, Hillary Clinton is Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction. She's going to keep coming back, and they're not going to stop her."

CNN's Johns, NPR's Rudin flatly declare Dem candidate's ad on Foley scandal to be false

CNN's Joe Johns and National Public Radio's Ken Rudin declared that portions of a political ad by Minnesota Democratic congressional candidate Patty Wetterling, claiming that "[c]ongressional leaders have admitted covering up the predatory behavior of a congressman who used the Internet to molest children," were false. But neither Rudin nor Johns noted that admitted actions by members of the House Republican leadership arguably had the result of a "cover-up."
