Crowley falsely claimed Obama "stole" Ahmadinejad's campaign slogan

On The Laura Ingraham Show, Monica Crowley claimed that Sen. Barack Obama "lifted his campaign line 'Yes, we can' from the recent presidential campaign of the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad." Crowley claimed that Ahmadinejad used the slogan "We can." In fact, Obama reportedly used the phrase "Yes, we can" during his 2004 Senate campaign -- a full year before Ahmadinejad was elected in 2005.

Monica Crowley forwarded smear that Obama has lied about his ethnicity

On The Laura Ingraham Show, guest host Monica Crowley stated that "according to this genealogy -- and again, because I haven't done the research, I can't verify this -- but according to this guy Kenneth Lamb, Barack Obama is not black African, he is Arab African." Crowley continued: "And yet, this guy is campaigning as black and painting anybody who dares to criticize him as a racist. I mean, that is -- it is the biggest con I think I've ever seen."

Monica Crowley falsely claimed Obama's half brother "went on the record to The Jerusalem Post" and said "Obama's got a really solid Muslim background"

On The Laura Ingraham Show, Monica Crowley falsely asserted that Malik Obama, Sen. Barack Obama's half brother, "went on the record to The Jerusalem Post, of all places, and said, 'Oh yeah, Obama's got a really solid Muslim background.' " Crowley also aired a clip of Brit Hume asserting that Malik Obama "tells The Jerusalem Post that 'if elected his brother will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background.' " But as ABC News' Jake Tapper noted, "Malik did not say that or come close to saying that."

Monica Crowley asserted Hillary Clinton "will cut off your manhood"

Referring to a New York Times article headlined "Those Loyal to the Clintons Take Note of Who Was Not," Monica Crowley claimed that those who reportedly spoke to the Times did so "only on the condition of anonymity, because they also do not want to end up in cement shoes." Crowley also described Hillary Clinton's purported treatment of someone who is, in Crowley's words, "backing the 'hope' guy": "[I]t will be too bad for you because girlfriend will cut you. She will strap you into the electric chair. Then she will waterboard you. Then she will slowly and methodically pull off each one of your toenails. Then she will deprive you of sleep by blasting 'The Best of the '80s Hair Bands' at you, and then she will cut off your manhood, and then she will throw the switch."

Despite GOP's nominations record, Babbin claimed Dems are too "racist" and "sexist" to "take a risk" on a black man and a woman on ticket

Human Events editor Jed Babbin asserted that Sen. Barack Obama would not choose Sen. Hillary Clinton as his vice presidential running mate because the Democrats "don't want to have both a black man and a woman on the same ticket for one reason: They are so racist and so sexist. They'll take a risk on one; they won't take a risk on two." Babbin made his statement despite the fact that every presidential and vice presidential nominee in the Republican Party's history has been a white male, and this year's presumptive presidential nominee does not break that pattern.

Ingraham: "[W]hy is O'Reilly afraid of George Soros?"

Laura Ingraham replayed audio clips of her appearance on Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor, during which Bill O'Reilly attacked Media Matters for America and the Democracy Alliance, an organization of donors formed to support progressive groups, as a "left-wing Mafia" dedicated to "nefarious purposes." Ingraham referred to the Democracy Alliance and progressive financier George Soros as "a bunch of old cranks" with "warmed-over old socialist ideas." Ingraham also asked: "But why is Bill O'Reilly afraid of George Soros?"
