On the September 22 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh touted an article from the right-wing news website NewsMax.com that contained a reference to "anti-American war protester Cindy Sheehan." Sheehan, whose son Casey was killed in the Iraq war, has participated in several anti-war events around the country. Referring to NewsMax's September 22 description of Sheehan, Limbaugh agreed that "they've written this correctly." He added, "She's not 'anti-war,' she's 'anti-American war protestor Cindy Sheehan.' "

From the September 22 broadcast of The Rush Limbaugh Show:

LIMBAUGH: More evidence that Mrs. Clinton gets it:

"2008 Presidential hopefuls, [Sen.] Hillary Clinton [D-NY] and [Sen.] John McCain [R-AZ] have agreed to meet with anti-American war protestor Cindy Sheehan" -- by the way, I'm reading this from our buddies at NewsMax, and that's why they've written this correctly: "anti-American war protester." She's not "anti-war." She's "anti-American war protester Cindy Sheehan." -- "when she travels to Washington this weekend to cap her national tour. Sheehan has meetings scheduled with an array of left-wing Democratic office holders including the swimmer [Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-MA)], [House Minority Leader] Nancy Pelosi [D-CA], and [Rep.] Henry Waxman [D-CA], as well as Hillary Clinton and McCain."

Actual source for this is The Village Voice. They reported it in editions today.
