From the January 27 edition of Fox News' Outnumbered:

SANDRA SMITH (CO-HOST): That is the biggest conversation is how to fund this counterterrorism. Police are the single biggest expense for US cities.

RACHEL CAMPOS-DUFFY: That's right.

SMITH: To pay your police. Its the most expensive thing. So they're taking away equipment. They're not finding the funding or the money that they need to fight terrorism. It's a scary situation. When you're a mayor of these mid-sized cities in America right now.

HARRIS FAULKNER (CO-HOST): Can we talk about the way the wording was, though? What do they mean by misused the equipment?

ANDREA TANTAROS (CO-HOST): Oh, that is not wording that I seized on. The wording that I seized on was, this report is hit piece on Republicans. It is designed to discredit Republicans, specifically Donald Trump on his positions about the dangers of Muslim immigrants. They cite his name specifically and they don't cite one study when they try and link profiling to terror. They try to link poverty to terror. There is not one study, not one, name one that links poverty to terror in this report. It's in Politico. It's a political hit piece. That is exactly what it is. And their facts are all wrong by the way. Profiling actually works. The best study produced by El Al in Israel on how it works. But look, after post-9/11, so much money spent on counterterror. So much money. That is how they got Humvees, these S.W.A.T. teams.
