BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): So you were tough on pretty tough on Donald Trump last night. He watched.

SEN. CORY BOOKER (D-NJ): By the way, I just used his own words.

KILMEADE: Right, but he watched and he tweeted this back at you: “If Cory Booker is the future of the Democratic Party, they have no future! I know more about Cory than he knows about himself.”

BOOKER: So let me break some news right now. I love Donald Trump, love his family, love his kids. And I’m not going to match his hate with hate, I’m going to match it with love. I’m not going to match his dark --

KILMEADE: You didn’t love him last night in the text of the speech, though.

BOOKER: No, no, let me tell you something. I don't want him to be my president. I’m going to use his words, demeaning John McCain, my colleague, prisoner of war. I’m going to use his words demeaning a person because of their disability. What I just told is that I'm not hating on him. I love you, Donald Trump. My point is, you should not be president when you talk about other Americans that way -- people who have military service, people who have disabilities. So I'm not going to answer his tweets and stuff like that. I'm not going to hate on him.

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): What do you say to the voter who does want a president not to be so [politically correct] and to really speak their mind?

BOOKER: I think that we’ve gotten to this point now where we use this [politically correct] -- I don't even know what [politically correct] means anymore. The reality is we want people -- I don't mind if you say, hey, Cory, you're a black guy. I don't mind talking like that. But I don’t want somebody -- if you have a disability -- to demean somebody, to mock them?

KILMEADE: You know, just so you know, he said he wasn't. He was mocking what they were saying about him. And I'm just saying --

BOOKER: But anybody watching that tape --

KILMEADE: And John McCain, he also said he is a war hero. He went on it the next day, went on and said he is a war hero.

BOOKER: I'm glad he corrected himself. Anybody watching the tape of him mocking somebody -- and then what he says about women. I have a niece. She was here in the audience. She's in grade school. The way he talks about women, women on this network. It’s unacceptable. You don't want that in the White House.

KILMEADE: But you also know that he employs more women than anybody else that is --

BOOKER: That's like saying, “My best friend’s a black guy, I don’t mind using those names.”
