Fox's Varney Slams Clinton For Admiring Angela Merkel While Ignoring Trump Admires Her Too

Fox Business host Stuart Varney bashed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for naming German Chancellor Angela Merkel as a world leader she admired, with Varney claiming Clinton's choice was “a mistake.” Varney completely ignored the fact that Republican nominee Donald Trump also picked Angela Merkal as a world leader he admires. The segment continued with Varney and former UKIP leader Nigel Farage bashing Clinton, Merkel, and other leaders for “opening up the door to ISIS and Islamic terrorism” by welcoming refugees fleeing war torn parts of the world. From the September 30 edition of Fox Business' Varney & Co.:

STUART VARNEY (HOST): Hillary Clinton was asked, “who's your favorite world leader?” She answered, Angela Merkel, Germany's leader. I'll call that a mistake. Angela Merkel made a disastrous error, one year ago. Without asking her European colleagues, she opened Germany's doors to over a million Muslim migrants. It was a humanitarian gesture, but it badly backfired. Terrorists came in with the migrants. Violent culture clashes popped up, and Angela Merkel now looks politically doomed. She is not likely to be Germany's chancellor that much longer. Back to Hillary. She wants a huge increase in the number of migrants coming to America, a 550 percent increase, to be precise. Hundreds of thousands on to top of the thousands already here. Hillary Clinton's admiration for Angela Merkel, and her association with mass Muslim migration may turn out to be a political liability. And the banking crisis going on over there now will have to be dealt with by Angela Merkel, another political liability. In a moment, Nigel Farage, he's the man who led Britain out of Merkel's Europe.
