DAVID MUIR (HOST): Over the weekend, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Condoleezza Rice and now tonight, House Speaker Paul Ryan saying he's done, he's no longer going to defend Donald Trump.

JONATHAN KARL: David, these are some of the most prominent and respected names in the Republican Party. He's responded by calling them hypocrites, and now he’s going right after Paul Ryan, tweeting just a short while ago, “Paul Ryan should spend more time on balancing the budget, jobs and illegal immigration, and not waste his time fighting the Republican nominee.” It is war.
