BENNY JOHNSON (HOST): It's just back and forth. You can see. You can just read them for yourself. It's just all a bunch of a back and forth. OK. Here's here's the pros. Here's the con. When we should we do it? When — JD says, why don't we delay a month and do some messaging out on the trail? Tell the American people why this is important. America does not want us in new wars and more wars. It just rings like a bell. It just — it's so awesome. I'm so proud of this administration reading these chats.
Maybe it's something I haven't thought about — maybe they added him on purpose. Maybe they wanted — maybe they're playing Jeff Goldberg. Maybe. I almost called him Jeff Goldblum. Jeff Goldblum's cool. Jeff Goldberg is a little short little short gremlin man. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's right. I could do the — we should — I'd love to have Jeff Goldblum on the show to explain this entire thing.
Nonetheless, I'm telling you, this makes them look great. This actually makes the administration look — it makes them look honest. Now kinda — I'm joking. OK? I don't think that there — there's zero upside to having Jeff Goldberg on this chat. Alright? Zero upside. And everyone sees that. President Trump called it a mistake. The officials in the administration called it a mistake and said they are trying to desperately figure out why this happened.
Now, there's something far more pernicious and nefarious going on here that is really bad. And I really do hope that Goldberg gets charged for possession of national defense information. It's what they charged Trump with. The entire Mar-a-Lago raid was predicated upon what Jeff Goldberg just did. He had classified — he had, according to him, classified information that he was retaining. National defense information. This doesn't even say classified. It just says national defense information. So that definitely is what this is. And Jeff Goldberg's, like, lurking like a peeping tom in the girl's locker room. He's, like, lurking in the, you know, towel bin, a little creepy is, and, like, was spying on the Trump administration. This is what he's doing. Why don't you charge him with this? With — throw a count at him. You knew what you were doing, you little rat.
