GUY LEWIS (FORMER U.S. ATTORNEY): Prosecutors investigate the case, they present the charges, and when they drop the ball, which is a gross understatement here, they should lose. And that's where we are now. They should lose.
BILL HEMMER (ANCHOR): Did they send half-baked case to the Senate ultimately, Chris. Is that the legacy here?
CHRIS WALLACE (FOX NEWS SUNDAY ANCHOR): Well, yes, but it wasn't totally the House's fault. The president refused to allow any witnesses, refused to allow any documents. You know, if they want to make the argument, Republicans do, that even if it's all true, it's not impeachable, that is one thing. To sit there and say, “Well, the House didn't present witnesses, so we're not going to call witnesses" -- I don't know that that makes a heck of a lot of sense. If you think the president committed, potentially, a crime, why not call a witness and find out whether it's true or not.
HEMMER: You could do that, Dana, but again there is a process for that. You could go through the courts and you could fight it. It would be a long slog, but there is a system to do just that.
