On September 15, FOX News Channel host Bill O'Reilly said that he had invited “our pal” syndicated right-wing radio host Michael Savage to come on The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly. O'Reilly added, “I like Savage. I think he's very entertaining.”

As Media Matters for America has documented, Savage's brand of “entertainment” consists of spewing racist, sexist, and homophobic epithets, as well as personal attacks on prominent Democrats and progressives.

• Savage on human rights activists: “When you hear 'human rights,' think gays. ... [T]hink only one thing: someone who wants to rape your son.”

• Savage on lesbians: "[They're] jealous that they don't have an AIDS epidemic that they can cash in on."

• Savage on Asians: "[T]he Asians still chew 'em [dogs] up."

• Savage on Islam: There's no difference between “radical Islam and the rest of Islam over there.”

• Savage on American women: "[W]omen in America ... don't even like the news ... [T]hey want girl talk all the time."

• Savage on former President Bill Clinton's heart surgery: “We heard, of course, that hell was full and therefore Mr. Clinton will be with us for a while longer.”

• Savage on former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton and Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle: “Obergrupenführer Clinton,” “Grupenführer Carter,” and “Brigadeführer Daschle.”

• Savage on Media Matters for America President and CEO, David Brock: “David Broken, or David Brockstein ... I don't like the lisp.”

• Savage on Brown v. Board of Education the day after the 50th anniversary of the historic civil rights decision: “Everything's about Brown v. The Board of Education; it's sickening”; “I am so tired of the race thing, leave me alone already”; “In fact, [minorities are] given priority treatment everywhere.”
