We know the delusional Fox News host is extremely touchy about the topic of his shrinking audience. And we know Beck does not like the fact that Media Matters has pointed out that he's has lost one-third of his audience since January, and that over the last 12 months he's basically failed to grow his ratings, at all.
To be specific, earlier this year, Glenn Beck was averaging nearly 3 million viewers each night, and today it's more like 2 million, with some days even dipping down into the 1.7 million range.
Now, note Beck's claim from last night that 15 million people watch his show each month:
If Fox News has hard Nielsen numbers to prove that fact, I'd love to see them. But the idea that Glenn Beck, which now hits the same ratings mark nearly every night, magically rotates in 15 million different viewers each month to watch the show seems implausible. And I'm not talking about viewers who might just sample for a few minutes each month. Beck last night clearly suggested he's got an army of 15 million TV viewers.
I don't buy it.
