Dick Morris has no idea what he's talking about

In the middle of a column warning of the dangers of government subsidies for news organizations, Morris writes:

Once such a subsidy is extended to news organizations, every company in the business must have it. Otherwise, the competitive advantage for the subsidized companies would prove too steep an obstacle to overcome.

Funny, I don't remember government funding of NPR driving Rush Limbaugh off the air. Or ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox News shutting down due to a failure to compete with PBS.

(To be clear: I'm not endorsing such subsidies. I'm endorsing the concept of never taking seriously anything Dick Morris says or writes.)
