Fox VP Cavuto the latest to give Napolitano a pass for his 9-11 conspiracy views

Earlier we asked if Fox News would respond to the growing number of conservatives criticizing Fox News' Andrew Napolitano for his belief that the government is lying about the attacks on 9-11. Based on Napolitano's recent appearances, Fox News appears to be dealing with his remarks by pretending they never happened.

Today on his Fox News program, Neil Cavuto had a chance to ask Napolitano about his comment that it's “hard for me to believe that” World Trade Center Building 7 “came down by itself” and that “twenty years from now, people will look at 9-11 the way we look at the assassination of JFK today. It couldn't possibly have been done the way the government told us.”

Cavuto isn't just any regular Fox News host. As his biography states, Cavuto is “the Senior Vice President of Business News” and “directs content and business news coverage for the FOX Business Network,” where Napolitano's show Freedom Watch airs.

Still, Cavuto didn't devote a single second to scrutinizing Napolitano's conspiracy-mongering. To the contrary, at the conclusion of the interview, Cavuto offered a full-spirited endorsement of Napolitano: “Everyone likes this show and loves this guy ... a dirty little secret on him, he's not only a brilliant guy, he is a hell of an interviewer." Watch:

As we've noted, Fox News has devoted countless shows to attacking 9-11 conspiracy theorists but is conspicuously avoiding the topic with their colleague down the hall.
