Is it Opposite Day at Fox Nation?

This morning, Fox Nation linked to a Science Daily article under the headline, “NASA Says Planting Trees INCREASES Global Warming”:

globalwarming

But the excerpt of the article included in the post reads almost exactly the opposite of Fox Nation's headline:

A new NASA computer modeling effort has found that additional growth of plants and trees in a world with doubled atmospheric carbon dioxide levels would create a new negative feedback -- a cooling effect -- in the Earth's climate system that could work to reduce future global warming.[emphasis added]

And if that doesn't make it clear, take a look at the headline of the Science Daily article to which the Fox Nation linked:

'Greener' Climate Prediction Shows Plants Slow Warming

Take your best shot at trying to explain how Fox Nation could interpret the headline "'Greener' Climate Prediction Shows Plants Slow Warming" as “NASA Says Planting Trees INCREASES Global Warming.”

Maybe Fox Nation will “correct” this headline later by adding a question mark.

UPDATE: Fox Nation apparently chose to “correct” its headline by pulling the post entirely from the site.
