Beck Still Surreptitiously Using His Fox Show To Promote Sponsors Of His Radio Show

As we've documented, more than 300 advertisers have reportedly fled from Beck's Fox News show. But rather than trying to woo them back and make more money for Fox by moderating his rhetoric, Beck instead continues to use his TV show to promote sponsors of his radio show. One way to look at it is that Beck is enriching himself at Fox's expense.
As we've documented, once upon a time, Fox News' legal department sent a letter to Glenn Beck seeking to make sure that wasn't using his Fox News show to promote his sponsors. According to a December 13 New York Times report, Fox said it has a policy prohibiting “any on-air talent from endorsing products or serving as a product spokesperson.”
That hasn't stopped Beck from repeatedly promoting his radio sponsors on his Fox News show without disclosing the financial relationship. And last night he did it again. On his Fox show, Beck directed people to go to his website to organize themselves the same way that Obama, Soros, communists, and others were doing so. He told viewers: “There is a new system. You can read about it at glennbeck.com that will connect people together without a middleman, so you can be connected and find out how freedom works. You need to, please, connect with your neighbors whether you use this system or something else. Find out all about it at Glennbeck.com. Connect. Community organizing is what wins the battle of freedom.”
If you go to GlennBeck.com, you will find that Beck has put up an article, complete with a 10-minute clip from his radio show promoting an organizing tool called “Freedom Connector.” Freedom Connector is run by Freedom Works, one of Beck's radio sponsors.
