Former Ku Klux Klan Leader David Duke Claims Jews “Dominate Our Media” During Louisiana Senate Debate

During a Louisiana Senate debate, radio host and former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke railed against the “very strong, powerful tribal group that dominates our media,” referring to Jews.

Duke’s racist tirade came in response to a question about a blog post he wrote attacking “CNN Jews.” During the debate, Duke exclaimed, “There is a problem in America with a very strong, powerful tribal group that dominates our media, dominates our international banking,” adding “I'm not opposed to all Jews.” From The Hill:

David Duke, a former Ku Klux Klan leader, said during a Louisiana Senate debate on Wednesday night that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton deserves the electric chair.

“We have a cabal in this government that literally controls our foreign policy ... Syria is a country with 3 million Christians,” he said. “It was just admitted by Clinton that our government's been supporting Saudi Arabia which she admits was supporting ISIS. The lady should be getting the electric chair, being charged with treason.”

He added that Clinton knew that Saudi Arabia was supporting the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) “and she told it secretly to Goldman Sachs in her emails, but she didn't tell the public.”

Duke's comments come after the debate moderator questioned him about a blog post on his website criticizing “CNN Jews.”

“There is a problem in America with a very strong, powerful tribal group that dominates our media, dominates our international banking,” Duke said. “I'm not opposed to all Jews.”

Duke has been an outspoken supporter of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, using his platform as a white nationalist radio host to promote Trump’s racist and bigoted policies and praising Trump’s immigration policy, saying, “we have to defend the heritage of the people who created America.” In September Duke praised Donald Trump Jr.’s analogy comparing refugees to Skittles as “absolutely correct.” Duke has also endorsed Trump saying in his bid to become a US senator, “nobody will be more supportive of his legislative agenda, his Supreme Court agenda, than I will.”
