Following ABC’s decision to cancel the TV show Roseanne after the sitcom’s star, Roseanne Barr, tweeted a racist attack on President Barack Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett, figures in the pro-Trump media universe had a meltdown and called on their followers to boycott ABC.
It’s not the first time Barr has gone on Twitter to make racist remarks; in fact, the star often serves as an amplifier to far-right conspiracy theories, false anti-Semitic narratives, and other toxic extremist content found on message boards like 4chan. These are the figures bemoaning the network’s decision to cancel the show:
Infowars host Alex Jones
One America News Network correspondent and “Pizzagate conspiracy theorist” Jack Posobiec
CRTV host and Trump adviser Eric Bolling (who deleted his tweet)
Las Vegas shooting conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer
Gateway Pundit’s Cassandra Fairbanks
YourVoice America host Bill Mitchell
Lucian Wintrich, White House correspondent for Gateway Pundit
The Federalist senior contributor Ashe Schow
Pro-Trump troll Mike Cernovich
Right-wing figure Ali Akbar
Pro-Trump radio host Wayne Dupree
Newsbusters Managing Editor Curtis Houck
Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft
NRA board member Ted Nugent
Turning Point USA’s Richard Armande Mills
Raheem Kassam, former London bureau chief for Breitbart
Pro-Trump YouTuber Mark Dice
Judicial Watch’s Jerry Dunleavy
Fox News radio host Todd Starnes
Social media network Gab, known as “a haven for white nationalists”

Yes, Barr’s tweet was controversial, but ABC has arguably been looking for any excuse to cut Barr’s pro-Trump show since it became the highest rated show on television.
