Last week I highlighted how when Andrew Breitbart became entangled with ABC News in a messy and very public dispute, Fox News sat on its hands and ignored the story, and that Fox News has been doing a lot of that this year when it comes to Breitbart.
Because except for the channel's graveyard shift comedy show, Breitbart's been effectively banned from Fox News for months now. He doesn't appear, and when he tangles with the supposedly evil and liberal mainstream media, Fox News looks away and ignores the story. (Note to Breitbart: When even Fox News won't defend you, it's time to reassess your career path.)
As I've mentioned in the past, there's just no way Breitbart's utter absence from Fox News is coincidental, and that somehow producers for virtually every Fox News program simultaneously lost Breitbart's phone number and email. It seems quite clear a top-down edict was issued announcing that Breitbart was out of bounds at Fox News.
And here's the latest proof. Late last week on his radio show, which has no association with Fox News, Glenn Beck went on at length about Breitbart's battle with ABC News, defending the blogger and condemning ABC for “folding” to left-wing pressure. But on Beck's TV show, which Fox News controls? Beck didn't say boo last week about Breitbart.
Why? Because Breitbart's been blacklisted by Fox News.
Ironic, dontcha think?
