Candace Owens has been singling out Jewish people for attack in recent weeks. She recently liked a post that asked a rabbi she is feuding with whether he is “drunk on Christian blood again.” She has also said that there is a Jewish “gang” in Hollywood committing “horrific things,” suggested “Jews are going to be blamed” if TikTok is banned, and railed against “D.C. Jew[s]” and “rot” in the Jewish community.
This is part of a longstanding pattern from Owens. She previously defended her friend the rapper Kanye “Ye” West after he posted he would go “death con 3” on Jewish people, saying, “If you are an honest person, you did not think this tweet was antisemitic.” In 2019, she said, “If Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well, OK, fine. ... I have no problems with nationalism.”
Owens' recent commentary has caught the attention of notorious antisemite Nick Fuentes, who said on his show that she “has been in a full-fledged war against the Jews.”
Fuentes is a white supremacist leader who attended the deadly 2017 “Unite the Right” white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, called for a “white uprising” to install Trump as a dictator, and has generated a lengthy list of bigoted statements, including his recent exhortation for Jews to “get the fuck out of America.” He is also a Holocaust denier.
In November 2022, just days after announcing his 2024 run for president, former President Donald Trump dined with Kanye West and Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago. As noted at the time, Trump made numerous remarks around the visit but declined to make any statements condemning Fuentes.
A sampling of Fuentes' praise for Owens is below.
Fuentes went on to say Owens has gone "full 88."
