DANA BASH (CNN ANCHOR): This is the kind of thing that is playing out all over conservative media. I just want to do a little bit of record correcting, there's no, there's not record crime right now number one. Harris was put in charge, as you said earlier, of combating the roots of immigration, she was not and is not the border czar. And inflation was very high in 2022, close to a record high. It has come down since.

LAURA BARRON-LOPEZ (CNN POLITICAL ANALYST): Yeah, that's right. I mean, we're going to see them go after her as Manu said, on immigration a lot. They're also going to try to, you know, put I think that, to what Isaac was saying earlier, they also are not going to be able to necessarily help themselves when they're talking about a candidate who is the first black and Indian woman who is the vice president. And them mispronouncing her name isn't new, it's something that when I was on the trail in 2020, they did repeatedly over and over.

DANA BASH: Is that, can you just explain this to me? Is this just a sign of disrespect?

LAURA BARRON-LOPEZ: I think it's a sign of disrespect it's also a sign of othering the vice president--

KASIE HUNT (CNN ANCHOR): It's like a reminder that it's not like she's not like you

LAURA BARRON-LOPEZ: That's right. And it also is of the same vein as attacking former president Barack Obama saying that he was not a citizen.

KASIE HUNT: Calling him Barack Hussein Obama

DANA BASH: They're also actually explicitly saying that about her, saying she is not eligible even though that is not true.
