A great example of reporting on the unknown and the alternate angle is CNN's piece today on Apple Co-Founder Ron Wayne, who sold his stake in the company for $800 just 11 days after he formed it with Steve Jobs and Stephen Wozniak.
“As far as I was concerned, it was found money,” he says.
Of course, he is planning to make something out of the past connection, with a forthcoming book.
