Daily Caller claims “some” are upset Secret Service provides too much protection for administration

Tucker Carlson's Daily Caller went deep into the weeds with an in-depth investigation into which White House aides get picked up and driven to work. (No joke.) Revelation: David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett are among those soaking up the “luxurious and prestigious perk.”
Noted, and thanks for the commuting scoop.
The Daily Caller also reveals that Jarrett has been made a “protectee” of the Secret Service and included this, um, fascinating piece of reporting [emphasis added]:
One eyewitness, on the morning of April 15, saw Jarrett being ferried to work on Pennsylvania Avenue in a black Dodge Charger SRT8 with official police lights mounted on the grill. There was a man in a suit and tie driving and another man in suit and tie in the passenger seat. Jarrett was in the back seat and appeared to be asleep.
The White House said it was not aware of Jarrett being driven to work in such a vehicle, since it is not a model usually used by the Secret Service or in the White House motor pool.
Riveting stuff, right? I know. So here's the Daily Caller's stab at a news hook:
Regardless, one knowledgeable source indicated that Jarrett has regular or semi-regular detail protection, which has left some questioning whether the close friend of the president's, whose portfolio involves mostly outreach to the business sector and domestic policy, really needs the high level of security.
Ah, “some” were questioning the security arrangement. Slight problem, though. Number of people in the Daily Caller article who actually questioned whether Jarrett should be protected?
Zero.
UPDATED: The right-wing outrage over this pointless story continues a rather disturbing trend of Obama-haters loudly protesting that the Secret Service is providing too much protection to the president and his top aides.
It's creepy.
