This morning, Fox & Friends hosted former New York City firefighter and founder of TheBravest.com Tim Brown to, once again, attack the proposed Islamic community center near ground zero in New York City. Brown declared that they are literally trying to build on “the graveyard of my friends.” Yet the real purpose of his appearance seemed to be a bit more than just some usual Muslim bashing. It seems that both Brown and Park51 developer Sharif el Gamal were invited on the Today show to discuss the project. El Gamal accepted and Brown refused. So, instead, Brown went to Fox, where they aired clips of el Gamal's just-aired Today appearance, and asked him to respond.
What news organization would agree to do this? Oh right, one that is actually a political outlet, whose far right worldview is often tainted with extreme, anti-Muslim rhetoric.
