JOE SCARBOROUGH (HOST): Yeah. There's so many lies that we just played there. I mean, he lied. You know, Donald Trump lied about January the 6th. He lied about the stolen election, he —

MIKA BRZEZINSKI (CO-HOST): Charlottesville.

SCARBOROUGH: Which, by the way, shocked it took so long to get there. Shocked that you had one guy up there who was a felon who tried to overthrow the American government, and it took 40, 45 minutes for that issue to even come up. I'm not sure how that happened, but it took 45 minutes.

SCARBOROUGH: Who lost his son, I believe, in Afghanistan, told The Atlantic that — he was with Donald Trump. And Kelly confirmed that Trump privately disparaged U.S. service members and veterans and called fallen soldiers “suckers” and “losers” during his presidency, Willie. That's Gen. Kelly, who like Joe Biden lost his son, and Gen. Kelly lost his son at war.

WILLIE GEIST (CO-HOST): Yeah, I mean unless you're deep, deep marinated in the MAGA universe, just ask yourself who do you believe in that story? Donald Trump or Gen. John Kelly, who's given his life in service of the country.
