Now Twitter, of course, responded according as they should have. But it was President Trump who made the biggest splash with this tweet, saying, quote, “we will never forget” that played her remarks with the video of the tragic event. Now, people were very offended when she was accurately quoted. She was offended and other were -- other people were also offended. These are things she actually said, though. Not only did she also lie about the establishment of CAIR and ignored their bigotry, but brushed aside a horrific event. This is to say nothing of her repeated anti-Semitic remarks that she’s made over the years. But referring to this as “some people did something,” that’s literally all the president’s tweet was, a replay of her words. But she didn’t take responsibility for what she said and doubled down by repeating the same rhetoric about how apparently now that you disagree with someone, it’s racist, as the president did. It’s racist, Islamaphobic, and xenophobic, and etc.
