Several media figures are not only roundly condemning Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's offensive and despicable comments from a 2005 video, where he said, “when you're a star ... you can do anything” to women, including “grab them by the pussy.” They are also noting that he is “talking about sexual assault.”
The Washington Post reported audio and video from a 2005 conversation where Trump said he “just start[s] kissing” women." He added, “I don't even wait,” because “when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything.” Trump also said, “Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”
In their widespread condemnation of Trump's reprehensible comments, media figures also noted that Trump is insisting “that it's normal to cheat on your wife and joke about sexual assault.”
Let's get one thing straight.
That's not locker room talk.
That's sexual assault talk.— Colin Jones (@colinjones) October 7, 2016
If your headline on this is anything less than “Trump caught on tape discussing how to sexually assault women,” you're doing it wrong

The Trump campaign's insistence that it's normal to cheat on your wife and joke about sexual assault is also pretty insulting to men.

Yes, he's talking about sexual assault, but he also seems to be confusing the female and male anatomies. https://t.co/qNQV2gmD2M

If Trump talking sexual assault is the end for you, you were good with Mexicans are rapists, Muslim ban, birtherism, fanning Nazism &on& on

And “grab her by the pussy” is important to include in @nytimes story not because it is vulgar but because it suggests sexual assault.

The issue is less Trump's womanizing, and more the thinking that you're entitled to do whatever you want to women. https://t.co/4RMHPbS9Yz

Uttering “lewd comments” is an interesting way of describing criminal sexual assault.

Morning: Trump says Central Park 5 guilty. Afternoon: Russia lobbying for Trump. Evening: Trump advocates sexual assault. Aka Friday in 2016
