MARIA BARTIROMO (ANCHOR): It's just incredible to me that in order to see the numbers get lower at the border the Biden-Harris administration decided to fly all these people into swing states. I mean -- does that resonate with people? What are they saying about that and the potential for those people to become voters of the Democrat party?
LEE CARTER (POLLSTER): So I think --
MARIA BARTIROMO: Which is what Andy Ogles just told us.
LEE CARTER: People's primary concern about immigration, and a lot of people talk about it related to crime, one of the things that I'm hearing from voters the most is that they're taking our services, they're taking over our schools, they're taking over our jobs, they're getting a lot of free things. We had people in the focus groups the night of debate, a couple of them were immigrants who came here legally and they are furious. What they said was we came here the right way --
MARIA BARTIROMO: That's right.
LEE CARTER: -- we came here for the American dream, we came here for opportunities, we didn't come here for handouts. We came here to work hard and what these people are doing are just coming in and taking handouts and we're changing the dynamics in the country so that instead of seeking opportunities of the American dream, we're putting our hands out.
