In defense of Scaramucci’s tirade, Fox’s Earhardt claims career government officials leak stories to sabotage Trump

Ainsley Earhardt: “So you might not like the colorful language  … However, he is determined to find out more about the deep state -- who these leakers are, why everything this president does, the deep state wants to go against him”

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): He was very mad about a leak, and [White House Communications Director Anthony] Scaramucci made it very clear -- and, keep in mind, we discovered that -- we were reminded of the fact that he is brand new to politics. Keep in mind, he’s been a businessman. He is not a politician. And he got caught. I don't know if he wanted it on the record or off the record. There was a story out there that apparently the president of the United States himself gave him the OK to go ahead and unload on Reince [Priebus]. But nonetheless, he did it in very stark language, the kind of language that you would not use at grandma's house. And then last night he tweeted this out: “I sometimes use colorful language. I will refrain in this arena, but not give up the passion to fight for @realDonaldTrump's agenda.” He also had one other tweet where he talked a little bit about he had trusted -- I made a mistake in trusting a reporter. It won't happen again.

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): Alright, so you might not like the colorful language. Most people can't condone the F-word and some of the language that was used. However, he is determined to find out more about the deep state -- who these leakers are, why everything this president does, the deep state wants to go against him. No matter what it is, positive or negative, they try to spin it, and they wait to drop stories at the right moment. When something positive happens, they drop a story and it involves leaking. And so he's saying, I'm sick of this. The president has my back. I'm going to continue to have his back. This was the cover of The Post today. I thought it was funny. It's “Survivor, the White House.” Because they’re making it into a reality show, according to this article, saying all the infighting looks like the reality show “Survivor.”
