AINSLEY EARHARDT (FOX NEWS ANCHOR): Well, M&M's putting its woke spokescandies on hold. The candy giant most notably changing the green M&M's white go-go boots to sneakers. Remember that last year? Well in a statement, the company now is saying, "We've decided to take an infinite pause from the spokescandies. In their place, we are proud to announce a spokesperson America can agree on: the beloved Maya Rudolph." Remember her from Saturday Night Live and from Loot, and also from Bridesmaids. She's really funny. And another funny guy Jimmy Failla, who hosts Fox Across America, on Fox News Radio and Fox Nation joins us now.

JIMMY FAILLA: (FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR): Hey, hey, hey. Be honest, did you book me for this story because I look like I get paid in M&M's? Tell the truth, Ainsley, come clean with me. There is a really valuable message here for companies around the world: If it ain't woke, don't fix it. And what I mean by that is M&M's injected a social justice initiative into a bag of candy and nobody had asked for this initiative. People don't go to candy to get identity politics. They go to candy to get love handles. They go because they want to eat and escape the day. I mean, that's what candy always was to kids. It was like alcohol for kids. You're having a rough day, you bag down some M&M's, you get on with your life. But in this instance they found themselves in the middle of a little bit of a social justice firestorm. But thankfully the customer base pushed back as they should.

EARHARDT: What do you think about Maya Rudolph being the new spokesperson?

[CROSSTALK]

FAILLA: I think they blew this. Maya Rudolph is actually, she's really funny and I really genuinely like her a lot. But I still think they blew it. They should have leaned into the fact that this is some of the most fattening content on Earth and gotten, like, me, OK? I am a good spokesperson. If I wasn't on cable news, I would be a before model, OK? That's who you want pushing your product, it gives everyone permission to eat this candy. Maya Rudolph makes me want to go to the gym; she looks great. You need a Jimmy Failla, that's all I am saying.

EARHARDT:  So Xbox is also announced they're going woke too in — you know, because of climate change, that they are adding a new feature to their default settings. So if you own an Xbox you can upload this new program and it will turn off after so long to save the environment, the power. And also they are saying the energy saving shut down feature is going to have a slower boot time. Ted Cruz writes on Twitter, first gas stoves and then your coffee, now you're gunning for my Xbox.

FAILLA: Isn't it crazy though? Like when we were kids you were a rebel if you had like a leather jacket and a pack of cigarettes. Now you have like a full powered Xbox and you're eating pizza rolls on a gas stove. I mean it is crazy what they're doing. But we understand what this is. It's not that it's actually going to offset emissions. The level of reduction is infinitesimal. But they are trying to recruit your kids into climate politics at an earlier age. Make them climate conscious now.

EARHARDT: Yeah, you're right, I didn't think of that. They are going after the children.

FAILLA: Of course they are. But again, what's the point of video games? It's for kids to be kids. Now you sit down, pick up a controller and they're like by the way the world is on fire. You know what I mean? You just want to play the game. And if they cared, I think they would stop making games that kept kids trapped in the house. My kid played so much Xbox during the lockdowns he didn't know there was a lock down until two months in.
