Fox Cites White Nationalist Writer To Fearmonger About Refugees

Fox host Steve Doocy cited a report claiming refugees cost taxpayers $20,000 each. The report comes from Edwin S. Rubenstein, a writer for the website VDARE, which the Southern Poverty Law Center has described as “an anti-immigration hate website” with a white nationalist ideology that “regularly publishes articles by prominent white nationalists, race scientists and anti-Semites.” From the June 10 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

A new report found 47 percent of refugee households receive cash assistance. A handful of refugees from the Middle East of course have been convicted of various crimes, including two Iraqis arrested for trying to support ISIS.
