Fox & Friends guest: If NFL players “really have disdain for law enforcement officers and the military, why don't they hire their own?”

Jack Hartnett: “Hire your own private police force and the chief of police... I think they would alleviate all  the problems.”

RACHEL CAMPOS-DUFFY (GUEST HOST): We're seeing the kneeling of the flags, now we're seeing more complaints about overt shows -- displays of patriotism, do you think that we're going to get to a point where people say, listen -- or even the owners of the teams in the NFL or whatever say, listen, we're just not going to do this, we don't want to offend people?

JACK HARTNETT (RETIRED MARINE): Possibly. I think money, greed rules a lot, but with that there's so many multi-millionaires in the professional arena. If they really have disdain for law enforcement officers and the military, why don't they hire their own? They could hire their own private police forces for $100,000 a year and employ a police officer in the horrible regions in Chicago. If that's what this really started with, with Collin [Kaepernick] standing or kneeling, or wearing pig socks -- take $100,000, each one of you, and hire your own private police force and the chief of police, and have them report back to you, and I think they would alleviate all the problems.
