Fox & Friends Hosts Discredited Conspiracy Theorist To Attack DOJ's Civil Rights Division, Muslim Civil Rights Group
Published
Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade hosted former Department of Justice attorney, Republican activist, and conspiracy theorist J. Christian Adams, who claimed that Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the head of the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ Vanita Gupta are “hanging out with the wrong crowd,” naming the civil rights group Muslim Advocates as an example. Adams also attacked the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, saying it “is populated with the most radicalized lawyers … who think America is the problem” and that in the wake of the Orlando massacre it “is doing all the wrong things.”
J. Christian Adams is a thoroughly discredited Republican activist and conspiracy theorist who has repeatedly leveled racially charged corruption accusations against the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, which have been debunked. Muslim Advocates is a legal advocacy organization “that works on the frontlines of civil rights to guarantee freedom and justice for Americans of all faiths” and has been the target of attacks from right-wing media for years.
