MARTHA MACCALLUM: It's so striking when you look at this story and you think about the areas, you know, the things that they want in terms of, you know, special coordinators, of safe space, and speech. And it's just a lockdown on the kind of conversation and dialogue that you want.

MACCALLUM: At the University of Minnesota, they're talking about eliminating a remembrance of 9/11 because they feel that it could violate the safe space of some of the students and the people on campus.

MACCALLUM: I mean, if they want to see the violation of a safe space, I suggest they visit Ground Zero and the 9/11 Museum if they want to talk about violating people's safe space when they just thought they were going to work one morning in lower Manhattan.
