LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): Where were the sob stories about the American workers, millions upon millions of them who were told to go learn, you know, computer code when all their jobs were shipped overseas?
MARIA BARTIROMO (FOX HOST): That's right. And how about a little empathy about the manufacturing sector in the United States that has been hollowed out as a result of corporations going to Mexico, going to China to produce stuff at much cheaper levels. So, this is a completely new day for the manufacturing sector of America.
I know you know that I feel the national security issues here are paramount. We cannot rely on communist China for our prescription drugs. We cannot rely on Taiwan for our advanced semiconductor chips. This is the beginning of the United States becoming independent for the things that we need.
This is brilliant. President Trump knows this. And that's why he's putting this in place. Markets are selling off right now, Laura, and I will tell you --
