Fox News' EVP for Advertising Sales warned about MyPillow's Mike Lindell: “A bad association for us”

The text in question was shortly after Lindell was seen at Trump's White House after the 2020 election with a document that said “martial law if necessary”

New emails disclosed as a part of Dominion Voting Systems' lawsuit against Fox News reveal an email from Fox News' Executive Vice President for Advertising Sales Jeff Collins stating that MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell was a “bad association for us” after Lindell appeared at the White House with a note suggesting Trump should call for “martial law if necessary.”

On January 16, 2021, Fox Corp. Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer Joe Dorrego emailed Collins a link to a Yahoo News article about Lindell visiting the White House, where a photographer captured a picture of papers carried by Lindell before entering the West Wing. He asked, “Does the risk by association swing to us in this instance?”

“Yes, thank you” Collins replied, adding “Agreed it's a bad association for us.” Dorrego responded, “The population on the reservation is dwindling rapidly these days. Keep me posted if you think we need to take any action, etc.”

MyPillow remains a top Fox News advertiser, spiking in 2022.
