GREG KELLY (HOST): You're not supposed to get up and say that stuff out loud. Come on, you got to — it's bad for business. He didn't care. He cared about the country. So Matt Gaetz didn't go down. It was — it was just a bridge too far. I don't know, he spoke too much truth. Hey, he's got a couple of fallback plans. He could always come and work here at Newsmax, as he has done quite a bit over the past couple of years, like filling in as an anchor on this program.

KELLY: My hair is not that bad. I don't know, I can say a lot of things about Matt Gaetz's hair. Look, he's a great guy with a big future, actually, in politics as well. There's a real possibility that, in a couple of weeks, he could be the next United States senator from Florida. Yeah. With Marco Rubio going to the State Department, there's a vacancy. I don't know how close he is to Governor DeSantis, but that is conceivable. Also, he's been talking about running for governor of Florida for a number of years. And maybe he just wants to go into the private sector, maybe raise a family. He's a newlywed, pretty much.
