The Washington Post was the only paper out of five of the top newspapers to cover in print Sen. JD Vance’s (R-OH) indication that a second Trump administration would gut the Affordable Care Act, reversing protections for seniors and people with preexisting conditions.
There hasn’t been a single news article about Vance’s comments in the A sections of the five papers’ print editions in the time between when the senator’s comments aired on Sunday and 3 p.m. on September 20. The only print coverage of the comments came from 2 opinion pieces in The Washington Post.
