You just can't make this stuff up.

In a blog post this afternoon, Jim Hoft claims that “White farmer-hater Shirley Sherrod” (yeah, that's what he calls her, even after the farmer in question credited her with saving his farm and said that the people calling her racist were nuts) is “Linked to Terrorist Bill Ayers.”

What, pray tell, is this “link”?

Sherrod's husband and Bill Ayers were both “involved” in the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC).

Seriously.

In Jim Hoft's twisted world, everyone who was in SNCC -- all those who participated in freedom rides and sit-ins, civil rights heroes like Julian Bond and John Lewis -- is irretrievably tainted by a “link” to Ayers.

This is just pathetic.
